After making about 5 levels off of amadan touched and pookhas with my ranger, I gave up. Lo and behold, was leveling a lvl 23 NS with a group, and finally got one to drop off of a Pookha just outside of Basar. I think this was still during patch 1.57 or 1.58.

I have been killing Amadan Touched, Alps and Pooks now for a while. Yesterday I finally got a drop off an Amadan Touched but not the bracer. To my surprise the Petrified shield dropped..small shield. Not bad but I still want those bracers

I have hunted the pooka and amadons alot. i have not gotten the drop. A guild mate got a drop of one off a greater zepher in the cliffs near the cliff beetles. He got it on 4 june so they are still dropping.

I did some levels on pookhas (I think 3 full levels to be exact). In that time, I got 2 cloaks of concealment, several boogieman, eagle, and other assorted mantles. The archer bracers dropped for me after I had leveled off them once.
Not saying that leveling had anything to do with it, just giving you an idea of how many I had killed at that point.

To those you got one ? What do you do exactly ? Is this on all amadan and pook or is there a special location ? Me and some friends kills many many of these monsters and never get the drop. Is this possible solo ? only in group ?

I got one today off a pook, I believe. A pook that spawns real close to Dorbal. I'm a 36th lvl Ranger. I spent a better part of three weeks solo'ing the area hunting for these things. Wouldn't you know it, one shows up right after grouping with a 39th lvl Eldrich. I have noticed that the AT's drop magic items more often when your in a group. For those of you who have been trying for awhile, get a higher lvl guildie to hook up with you for awhile and see if that helps.

something i forgot in my last post - i've killed roughly 3000 amadans and 1000ish phooks - now supposedly a rare drop is 1/1000 right? surely by now i'd have 3 if not 4 of them if they did exit

i've been killing amas and phooks for almost a week solid - five hours or so every day - been dying just to keep them a color that can give drops - not a single bracer drop - not even a cloak of obscurement.....and i've never met anyone who has one and has showed it to me - so tbh i'm not convinced they exist - methinks some people are having a laff at the expense of the rangers of the realm...

exactly how rare are these bloody rare drops...been camping the little sods (amadans and phooka's) and been deliberately dying so i don't level and they go grey........killed well over 200 of phookas and easily double that in amadans....where the bloody hell is the drop?

I have never gotten one of these from a Pookha before. I spent around 3 hours chain killing Amadans and finally got this bracer. The stats on the one I got are CD/Recurve +2, Dex +7 though.

I have spent over 30 hours huntin pooks in fast kill groups, me 38 NS bard and a 38 hero. Have yet to see these things drop. Though not giving up the fight till pooks go grey.

Now granted this was a few patches ago but while I was soloing in the Cliffs of Moher--before they made the changes where they moved everything around and put into those chicken looking mobs I got one off a Zephyr Wraith hunting on the hill with the Aughishy, Cliff Beetles and Greater Zephyrs. Since the patch where they redid the cliffs I have not seen a Zephyr Wraith on or near that hill, they all seem to be out near the chicken mobs and the cliff hunters. Hard to get to em now--Cliff hunters kept chasing me away.

someone said they got this off an amadan touched. same level range for the mob.... anyway, if anyone gets any, talk to Miagi, Hibernia, Quenivere. ;)
