I did this at lvl 35 with my Merc and a lvl 37 necro in my grp. I got the drop but the necro didnt because he cant use slash weps. I also got lucky and the named pig dropped a unique sabre.
Stealth +2, cha +10, power +6 and str +3 or somethin like that. I wouldn't count on him always droppin somethin like this, im pretty sure it was just my luck.

There are actually quite few of such, for example the gauche from Cynewolf the Ghostwalker on the Salisbury Plains - you kill him, weapon appearsin your INV, tells that you finished the quest, although there was no quest given. Weapon is like a quest reward item, with 100% quality.
Or the black lion fangs, which you get somewhere level 30'ish. Or some big pig in Cornwal. Quite few such one time drops, which will give you an item AFTER you are past a certain level. You may kill the mob before, but will get no item.
What sucks is that most of the items are indeed plain Slash items. Now imagine being a class or a char who does not use Slash weapons :-) My paladin uses Two Handed weapons (swords) and I yet have to see any such drop like this. I can't even recall any quest quality (100%) 2H sword after the Splitter heh..

Grunge was orange @ lvl 36 but he was still an easy solo takedown. He can be found on the hill directly north of Snowdonia Fortress before the guard tower. He roams a bit so look in that area and have patience. Great sword to have at lvl 36 since the quality is 100% (hits hard and lasts forever).

Im level 28 now, do I have to wait till level 36 to get this? Can I get two of them for my dual weild ability?

Aye friend, my merc is 35 and recieved an additional one from a guildmate. All infiltrators and mercenaries should strive to get two of these beauties. They are a dual wielders dream for the mid 30's.

Is it just me, or are their 5 times as many magical slashing weapons to piercing?, I don't think i've seen a magical piercer in this realm yet... Oh and why the hell at level 5 does an infiltrator get a damn Sword? WTF? 90% pierce. Damn is mythic too lazy to change it to any kind of piercing?... Im thinking of just sayin ***** pierce because theirs way better weapons that are slashin.

This is an autodrop (eg. goes automatically to your inventory) from Grunge in Snowdonia at lvl36. He's a big pig :)
... it may sound like a weapon dropped off of monster, but then again, check the "Quality" on this thing - 100%. That's the quality of the quest weapon usually. I guess that either you get the huge boar tusk to some NPC who will craft for you this weapon, or you get a quest to kill such pig for some or another reason and after the kill, it will pop into your INV.
Don't know the details, but sure would like to know though, this is a neat piece..
