The Stone Loop is +3 Int, +1 Dex, not +2 Int as shown above.

This quest takes quite a while (it's a long run from Ardee/Mag Mell) and if you've already done the Spykit quest and the Summoner quest, you've already got two +3 int rings. You do get really good experience for killing the tree spirit, though - like two bubbles if I remember right.
