I just don't seem to get it. This is a one time only quest, as in you can never do it again or as in you can only do it one time. The item you get does not last forever. What is the point? Either become a WC yourself or buy from players if you want weapons. Now with the spellcrafting stuff there is absolutely no point in obsessing over getting an item through a quest. I say do the quests that give you maybe 5 or more exp bubbles or just frigg'n level and get on with RvR. Item decay is so much BS...

I would be happy to buy it off you for my partner. We have been looking for a good polearm slashing weapon for him and this would work great. He will be level 14.

I also received a Lifetaker as a gift at around 14th or 15th level. I'm almost at 20 and it is still yellow to me. I will soon pass it on to another Armsman so it can continue to be used well.

I must comment on how good of a weapon this really is. I used it from lvl 14 to lvl 22 when I started using a Keltoi Honed Halberd. As it was given to me, I gave it away to a young armsman of . . . hmmm 14th lvl

I'm an Armsman and i did this quest a while back,the damage on the weapon is 6,not 12.And paladins can't use it.

Well, that was a waste. I'm a 17th level paladin, and i just finished this quest last night having no idea what the reward was. It was kind of a fun quest, but there seems to be no point to having this quest be given to any class other than the armsman. It might as well be given by an armsman trainer.
There are other quests that can be done by different classes, but give different rewards. Considering you actually get the quest inside of the church, I'm surprised that it isn't pally or cleric only to begin with. She even talks about "helping" the church. Oh well. Maybe it's a bug.

As an armsman I plan on doing this quest. That is a very nice Polararm and since I spec in Slashing. I will do massive damage.

Considering Paladins cant use this weapon, its a polearm.
This is a quest reward. While it is not tied to any class specifically, it is ONLY useable by armsman, since armsman is only class who gets the Polearms skill. Also, the quest does start in the church, but it is not for paladins only.
Quest name is, if I am correct, Lord Ayron's Box. Idea is that you need to go to 2 places, find 2 named NPC and get from them 2 items. First is a key for the box, and the second is a scroll to remove the wards on the box. Once you return these items, you will receive this item as a reward. But again, ONLY armsmen can use this weapon, as they are the ONLY class who will get the skill. Other classes cannot even wield it. If you are an armsman and some paladin or whoever is trying to sell it to you, do not buy. You will get the quest anyway if you check the criers, and it's doable alone (and they will bestuck with it, since it only sells for 1 copper to vendors, so why not just to give it away). Even better doable it is with friends :-)

If you read on the Skill Requirement you need a skill of 8 in polearms in order for u to use it.
