Abolishment of Sacrifice

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. Received from Paladin trainer at level 15. You must complete the Traveler's Way and List of Denial quests first. Step 1: You must go to the council in Humberton (out of north gate of camelot, not to far) to a keep on the hill there and speak with the council. Apparently, someone named Harish (a filidh) has cursed the church and is drawing the sons and daughters of Humberton into his own cult. Step 2: The council sends you to the twin towers, just across big white up and down bridge. You just have to ask the guards about Harish and they will tell you he is north of the tower. Step 3: Head due north up a big hill and you will see a group of filidhs, mostly green and grey to me at level 15. Off to the left and behind this camp is another group of filidhs where Harish is hiding out. Step 4: Kill Harish and he will say something to the effect of "Now see the my true power as I continue to battle after death" He will then die and become "Shade of Harish" a 8 foot ghostly version of himself. Original Harish was grey to me and the shade version was green at level 15. When you kill the Shade of Harish the filidhs joined in the fight die as well. Step 5: Return to the council and they will thank you and give you a "Humberton Tithe" to take back to Camelot as their thanks for the churchs aid. Step 6: When you talk to the trainer in Camelot she asks if you defeated the evil and then you hand her the tithe. I received no money or exp but a NICE set of leggings. Harish is yellow at 15 now. When you get him to death he'll vanish and return with all the Fildh in the camp who will all be blue (even if they were green). The Shade of Harish will be at FULL health and will be orange. cannot be done by solo Paladin at 15.

Did this quest with my lvl 17 paladin. The quest is quick and easy to do.

The paladin's Redoubled Leggings chain armor have been improved to the following bonuses:
+7 STR, +7 CON, +2 parry skill, 1% thrust resist

I JUST now finished the Abolishment of Sacrafice quest at lvl 30. So when you get this quest at 15 and you wonder why you still have it in your quest journal after you finished it, then dont worry about it --- it will stay there until lvl 30, when you finish the Chains of Death quest. Woo hoo! finally says no pending quests!!

i defeated harish and went back to the council, my journal told me to visit my trainer. When i went to my trainer she asked me if i was successful on defeating the evil. i tried saying yes or i am successful but it wont work. is there a special word that i have to say to finish the quest?

For those of you worried about agroed druids.... When I did this quest I found Sacrificer Harish right next to the Huge tree in middle of stones. I was contemplating how to pull him solo when it started RAINING. I capitalize raining because when this happened every singe druid on the hill disaperead except for harish. Made killing him a breeze with my lvl 15 Cleric,

I completed everything up to the point where i had to talk to one of the guards by the twin towers but they dont say anything. Is there something i have to type in order to ask them about Harish? Your Response would be greatly appreciated!

I have camp by the ruins for 4 hours rt, and he has not spawn, is this normal?
Do I wait to he spawn or where somthing I can do to make him spawn like killing the small ons, or is it only at night he spawn ?

Killing Harish wasn't to bad and I managed to go it without pulling any of the others around the area including the druid pet (wait until it walks away).
Just before Harish dies he becomes a Shade and attacks with all of the misguided youth. Focus on the shade, killing it causes the followers to disapear and the pet just walks away from you.
I almost bought the farm as a level 15 Paladin. Killing the Shade first saved by berries.

The lvl 20 step (#7 Abolishment of Scarifice) is the Deserter Amano miniquest. Anybody know where to find Amano?

NM found him. For others, Deserter Amano:
On the road to snowdonaia after the double bridge and the twin towers there is a single guard tower. From there go traight west and climb a hill. On the other side you find a woodden house and Tepoks mine. Amano (or a named goblin who's ghost is Amano - not sure of that) is in front of the house. During/after killing him all the goblins aggro. They are grey and easy to get rid of if you enter the mine.

I tried to solo the quest as a Cleric at 15 and failed because I got swarmed. Sure, they were grey, but when it's 1 of you and 6 of them, you're most likely gonna get beat down. I brought along a 12 Pally friend of mine and we had no trouble at all.
Let me pass along a couple of hints:
first, if you circle east around to the reverse slope of the mountain, there is a path directly to the standing stone where Harish stands that has no flidhs patrolling. That prevents and adds (some flidhs are still green to me at 15).
Also, once you've started the fight, concentrate on first Harish and then Shade of Harish. Once you kill Harish, the other flidhs that come with him to fight will disappear! Makes the fight alot easier.

Thank you for the safe tip. My pally 15th. took the east road then scaled the large mt range.. Saw him.. did some pally aggo action.. (lol) and Kill him.

I am now a level 25 paladin and i have never been able to get any of the epic quests.
i've tried talking to the trainers in camelot, ulfwych, and the marsh...but to no avail. they just ask me if i want to train.
is there a requisite quest that must be completed prior to obtaining this one?

ok, there was someone else who had this same problem...so now that i know the answer, i will share it to save any others the same grief.
there IS a quest that must be completed in order to receive this epic. it is called "list of denial" and it is your level 11 trainer quest.
this quest sat on my journal for so long that i had forgotten who gave it to me. hope this helps someone.

i just did this quest.
i ran up the hill to fight harish and i saw just a shade of harish. killed him and he said something. i never saw the human form of him. all i ever saw was his ghost. im waiting for level 20 to start eh next step.

i'm a lvl 18 pally. just realized i should probably do this quest. but my trainer won't give it to me. just asks me if i want to train. is it too late for me to do the quest? am i missing something?

You get this epic at level 15 for cleric..YES you get the faithbound shield..still blue to me at level 20. At level 20, you THEN go to cleric trainer...have to kill Amano (Tepok mine)..then to to Arbiards Retreat and talk to him..Then to caer ulf..etc....this epic is basically same for pally and cleric..

head towards tepoks mines. Just infront is a small building with a named caster called Amano. Go kil him (everything will aggro on you - fun fight). then head to Arbid and /say tha Amano is dead. He then sends you to Cear Ulf tell a caster there the same thing. and you get a nice set of greaves. then u need to head to camelot again for the xp.

First, get the quest from your guild trainer. They will ask you to speak to the head guy in Humberton Castle. Belef will tell you of Harish and tell you to speak to the guards at the twin towers at the big bridge. Target one of the guards and just say the name Harish. A window pops up with info on his location. Now its time to kill Harish. Go North - NorthEast up a hill. You will find ruins and some Fidith. Harish sacrificer is one of them. He can be pulled solo and killed easily (I recommend pulling away from the camp). Next spawns a Shade of Harish which immediately attacks you when you get close to the ruins. He attacks with every other fidith around. I recommend brining backup for this. After the Shade of Harish dies, the other fidith disappear. Go to Humberton council and speak to Balef. He gives you a note and you then give it to your trainer for your reward.

Pathetically easy quest for a level 15 paladin. When my character came upon Harish, he was white, with a green druid around him. As i was equipped with the 2 handed sword, splitter, it only took a couple hits of 90 damage to finish him off. then, his ghost spawns at the same spot and attacks you. his ghost was green to me and died almost as quickly.
Easiest armor i've ever gotten. what a joke. will the level 20 part be harder? one can only hope.

I did this quest yesterday, I was looking for a fight and it was too easy! I am hoping the level 20 part will be harder as well.

It was working the same day I typed that message. I killed him during the day...it's the only named mob up there..
On another note. Has anyone done the lvl 20 part of the quest? Just about to look for the guy, thought mebbe someone could shed some light on location.

This quest sucks, This guy never spawns. Does anyone Know if its broken. Ive spent 3 days looking for him. I have met countless others doing the same. This is part of our epic quest so we cant ignore it. Any suggestion.

This guy never spawns. I have sat at the location for two days now and never see him. Has anyone heard if this quest is correctly working.
