DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different 04.06.05 Per Patch 1.75: - A War of Old - Scout Argyle now hunts in the region just below Vindsaul Faste in West Svealand. - A War of Old - Lieutenant Salurn has relocated to Gotar, not far from the Cursed Tomb. - A War of Old - The Witch now haunts Myrkwood just below Gotar. Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. This is the Hunter epic quest, and you must complete the Traveler's Way quest first. At 15th, the trainers in Jordheim will send you to talk to Morlin Caan. He can be found at the forge next to the temple (the one with Gris, not the tradeskill forge in the upper part of town). He tells you about an Albion army that Arthur sent into Midgard before his death. The army was defeated, but parts of it still roam the land as undead. He will send you to talk to Masrim in Fort Atla for more information. Masrim can be found in the building directly opposite the gate in Fort Atla, around in the back. She will tell you to go kill Scout Argyle. The Scout and 2 undead scouts can be found near loc=40k, 10k in West Svealand The undead scouts use bows and arrows to try and pick you off, but use swords up close. Kill him, and return to Masrim. She will say nice things about you and send you back to Morlin for your reward. Morlin gives you the Beastfriend's Bracer or Boots of the Agile Evader for this part of the quest. Rewards: |

The Witch was found at 25.7k 5.5k in Myrwood, east of the nothernd guard tower.

Ok.. the update says the Witch is now located in Myrkwood just below Gotar.. so i hopped off the horse as it entered MW... but that is a big location.. does anyone have a loc??

I found Argyle and his pals roaming 40k, 10k in West Svealand @ 20h 49m time(not sure if he comes out at a certain time so I through that in there)
I had to really search for Argyle. I found him at 50k/55k...

From Fort Atla, head towards the path as if you were going to Galplen. Eventually you will come up on a tower right before you enter Myrkwood. Argyle and his party is behind the tower a little ways on top of the hill.

I just charmed a tingler and made it take the agro from the scouts while i killed Argyle.. it was quite easy :)

I couldn't get my hunter epic started, so I asked using the rightnow tool.
Seems you also have to do the Hunt for Dorga quest as well as Travelers way quest.
Now at lvl20, I could do the lvl15 and 20 part of the epic. Hope this helps

I am a lvl 19 hunter and i got problems with this quest. I talk to morlin in jordheim, he gave me the ring but in my quest log nothing changes... Every time i click the word [schamanin] i get another ring but still no message that i have to go to masrim in atla can anyone help me pls ?

Do you need to be exactly level 15 to get the quest? I tried to initiate the quest at level 19, but the trainers in Jordhiem didn't say anything other than ask me if i wanted quivers of arrows.

Aleaniver is in Audliten, not Galpen. And neither she nor the bartended in Galplen will talk to me after Masrim gave me the level 20 epic. I've killed Salurn twice and can't get the quest done.

At level 15 I killed Argyle with my bow alone, then took out his green con scouts with my spear.. lost hardly any hps

Not Aleaniver. Yleniver or something like that is Galphen. She is standing on a block in the stone cave with the healer in it.

Just did level 30 part today. After you visit with Morlin he sends you back to Masrim in Ft Atla. She instructs you to find a dark witch (actually a werewolf) by the name of Pellinistra. You will find her and a couple others in Skona Ravine. Head west past Askheim to the stone circle in Skona. From there go south (about a 30 sec run) and you will find her on top of a hill at location 52k 50k next to a lean to. At level 33 she cond green to me, and her followers grey. Take the drop from Pellinistra back to Masrim then back to Morlin for you reward, which by the way is very nice. Heart-piercing bow, at level 33 cons yellow to me. Bonuses include +3 to CB, +7 dex, and +3 Quick.

After I finished the LVL 25 part of the Hunter quest, Masrim tells me she will inform me that she will need me again and tells me to speak with Morlin. Morlin tells me to gain some exp... Does anyone know what the next part of the quest is?0

I just did the level 20 Shadowblade epic, and I didn't recieve Shadowed leggings, just 30 fricking silver...

For the 25th Level section of this quest (as a hunter) you need to kill a witch in Skona Ravine. Go west out of Gna Faste, West past the Werewolf fort and into Skona. In Skona, hug the northern wall and travel west. About 4/5th the way across the zone, you get to a cliff overlooking a lake. Stay on top of the cliff, but turn SE and follow the edge of the cliff/hill. The witch should be a 30 second walk that direction standing under a tree. She conned blue to me at lvl26. Kill her , then go back to the barkeep in galpen. Show her the book you get from the witch, and she'll send you back to Masrim in Ft. Alta. Masrim will then give you the Forest Hunters Vest!

over lvl 25 manage to do the 3rd step? Meaning, have you found the Witch in Skona Ravine and if so, where is the pop? i wandered thru the ravine and ended up dying 3 times and still no idea where she is.

Ok, i've finished the first 2 parts of this quest. First part i got boots of the agile evader (am a lvl 20 Shadowblade), and then after hitting lvl 20 i just recieved Shadowed Leggins. Now i have to go back to the barkeep in Galplen after going up in levels. I will post more as i find out.

I finally found the Scout with the help of a friend who spotted them for me and this is the information I have gathered about this quest.
The whole group consists of the Scout and 2 undead scouts. Scout Argyle conned blue to me and the 2 undead scouts conned green but I am also level 15.
The one thing you have to keep an eye out for and remember is if you attack Scout Argyle from a distance... He will run after you and attack but the 2 undead scouts will use a bow and arrow on you so you have to kill Scout Argyle very quickly or you will get picked off with arrows.
Once you have reached the 2 undead scouts... They will change their weapons into swords and taking them out should be no problem at all.
Hunters may want to attack Scout Argyle while having their pet attack the 2 undead scouts so the attacks with arrows aren't so bad.
The location I found the pack was off the left hand side of the road right before the small hill where the road starts curving to the left. If you look to the left... It will look like a smaller hill is in the center of the patch of field. On the hill going up is where I found the 3 dead guys so you might not want to just stay around the cursed tomb.
Everything else for this quest is mainly easy in my opinion and the quest item is a nice touch!

I was wondering how hard these guys are cause I don't feel like running off at level 15 trying to find him when his crew and him all con red+++ to me...

Even at 14 Argyle was blue and the other two scouts were green to me. They remained the same at 15.

This is the 15th lvl quest for the Shadowblade quest as well. I received Boots of the Agile Evader.
