This may be a level one only quest.

Aegan says "Greetings, are you [worthy of the hunt]?"

Aegan says, "Oh ho! Another bright young come to help Midgard fend off her enemies, eh? Wonderful, that's what I say! Wonderful! With the rise of the [Albion] and [Hibernia] armies,Midgard will need all the she can get!"

Aegan says "I have spent a great deal of my life hunting the [maulers] of this region"

Aegan says "Bring me the claws of a mauler cub and I shall reward you"

Step 1 - Hunt black mauler cubs for their claws

Steps 2 through 6 - Kill more mauler cubs (total of 5)

Step 7 - You have proven yourself a true hunter. Return to Aegan with all five bear claws.

Hand claws to Aegan, each time he says:
Aegan says, "You are doing well! Continue to pass me the bear claws!"

Aegan says "You have proven yourself well youngster! I hope the coin serves you well."

Received some copper and some (small at 7th level, probably quite a bit for a 1st level Char) experience.

Seems only to work for vikings

not rogue or max lvl is 1

I'm a level 2 rogue, and this npc only talks about the other 2 realms.

tried to do the quest with my lvl6 Kobold Rougue Shadowblade .. all he does is he tells me about the two other realms. which I am not interested in hearing about.. I want the damn quest... what am a man to do ?

A spiritmaster was unable to get this quest at level 1,3,5, or 10. Aegan only talks about Albion and Hibernia.

A nice quest to do while you are killing maulers at level 1-2 anyways, and the cash you get is nice for that level to, recommended.

Aegan is in Mularn, not West Svealand.
