The Rod and the Scholars (Shaman)

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different *This is for Shamans, the one for Healers is The Rod and the Scholars (Healer) You receive this quest by getting a quest called "Wisdom of Time" from Dane; she tells you to go talk to Inaksha in Haggerfel about some research she is doing. Once you talk to Inaksha she gives you a second quest called "The Scholars and the Rod", for this quest you will move between several towns getting information. Ultimately you will end up talking to Kjell in Vasudheim, he needs you to recover a book from someone named Prugor (sp?)(loc 28.4k 16.6k) in the Vale of Mularn. It turns out that Prugor is a Vendo who can be found at the lake Vendo camp, he also sometimes wanders by himself between this camp and the other camps near the Vendo Caverns dungeon. He can be pulled solo with your disease spell from the camp or jumped while he is roaming by himself (he conned green at 15th.) You will get the book in your inventory once you kill him, take it back to Kjell and he will give you the bad information that he cannot recover the rod. Return this information back to Inaksha and she will give you your reward. Exp gained 491,520. After you get the bracer the "The Scholars and the Rod" quest will be completed but the "Wisdom of Time" will still be in your journal with the notation to go see Inaksha again when you reach 20th level. I'm a level 18 hunter, but tried this quest at level 16. Dane would not give me the quest. Maybe this quest is not for everyone like it says.

While hunting the rabid sveawolves south and a little west of the Vendo camp, I noticed that Prugor (yellow, and a very easy kill to me as a L12 Troll Warrior) patrols the same route as the larger group of patrolling Vendos (at least going to the camp...didn't notice if he walks their route coming from the camp). So, if you sit where you can see the larger patrol turning to go back north to the camp, Prugor will PREcede them by a minute or two--plenty of time to kill him and then avoid the larger (and tougher) patrol that will be coming along shortly.

Shamans get this same basic quest too. Healers get it as well.
The reward apparently is the same...a bracer with magicaly properties.

This is the epic for Healers ... not for all classes. Shamen may have the same thing or a similar version with the same reward ... not sure

The person we seek is named Prugor, and its the exact same quest for Healers as it is for Shaman. The Healer reward is the "Blessed Pendant of Eir" all spells +1 skill.
At level 15-16 most of the Vendo in the camp near the Svasud Faste gates (along the water) were a blue con. Prugor himself was green. I paired with a level 16 Thane who was soloing there, and it took about 5 minutes until Prugor showed himself. Good luck :)

I also did this one for my lv 15 Healer epic got a Necklace with same stats as shammy just only Healer only.

His name is Prugor and it is part of the shaman epic. After you finish this it will tell tou to return upon 20th lvl.

I noticed that the bracer is for Shaman only so I am thinking the quest is for Shaman only...
