DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different This is the second part in a nested quest. You must start the Grenlock Clan quest first. Siv is in East Svealand, at the largest lake has what looks like a sideways "Y" in it. Siv can be found on the piece of land where the river breaks into two, in the center of the lake. He is a spirit named Siv Alfevson. The loc I found him at was 20000,44380,4600, although he appears to roam around the island. After a brief conversation, he will send you to find his wife, Ulga. Ulga is located in West Svealand, NW of Hugginfel. She will talk to you briefly, then attack you. She conned green to me at 17 and wasn't much trouble to kill, even though she started at close range. She drops a piece to the Grenlock Crest. Once you return the piece to Anrid, he will give you Runed Mystical Boots. You have been given the Siv's Spirit quest. [Step #1] Seek out spirit of Siv in East Svealand. Siv is found on the same isle where Riv spawns, which is across from where Klippa is. Go to Dvalin and go past the guard tower to just past the ant camp, there to your left across the river is an isle, Siv is there or near it swimming in the water. Siv Alfevson says, "Life is never to be taken for [granted] for one always reaps what they sow." Siv Alfevson says, "I traveled many years, running in fear from the terrible consuming northern storm. After may years my brothers and I settled our armies and clan and built shelter and a new civilization after the terrible storm that wiped away our homeland. Our father stayed behind, leaving us with only pieces of his armor and pieces of our great clan crest of Grenlock. I too stay behind to watch over what is left of [our clan] here in these parts." Siv Alfevson says, "There is little of the Grenlock Clan left, only our people and the shards of the crest my father entrusted me to us, both now scattered to the wind. You must make sure to gather the crest piece from my long dead wife, [Ulga}. This must be done at all costs!" Siv Alfevson says, "Search for her soul and ask for the Grenlock Crest shard. Should you succeed, the House of Hel shall make us whole! I can assist you no more Spiritmaster. May the gods guard you on the rest of your journey, just as they have done with me." [Step #3] Find Siv's wife Ulga within West Svealand. Acquire the Grenlock [crest] piece! To find Ulga, from Aylarn (in front of lean-to) run west, then you'll see the tower and the camp of Bloodfellags. At the camp take the path and head a bit northwest (maybe a bit more north than west) then we saw her wandering around, near 31k, 20k. *Alternate directions: Go to Audliten, go north across the bridge and take a left at the crossroad. Follow that trail a ways until you get to the top of the hill where there is another crossroad. Take a left (If you go right, you will end up at the West Gate). Follow the path until the next crossroad. There are 2 stumps, one on the south side of the path and one on the north side. If you stand next to the one on the south side and point yourself due South, go forward and you will run into a tree. Just past that tree is where i saw her each time. I hope this helps reduce some of your search time. Be careful, there are also some wolfpacks running around there too. Ulga conned blue at lvl 15. And SOMETIMES a ghoul will spawn while you are killing her. Approximate Loc sights (she does roam): Ulga says, "How may I help you young one?" You say, "crest" Ulga says, "The only way you could know about the Grenlock Crest is if my husband [Siv] had spoken to you or you are an agent of evil!" Ulga says, "It is doubtful that he has sent you! If you wish the crest, you must take it by force!" She then proceeds to begin casting...kill her, get the crest. Ulga says, "I have failed you my love!" You receive a Grenlock Crest piece from Ulga! Your standing with the spirits of Midgard has decreased. [Step #4] Return to Anrid in Jordheim. Anrid says, "You have returned. Did you obtain that which was required of you?" You hand Anrid the Grenlock Crest piece. Anrid says, "I see you have met Siv. He was very kind to his people, always wishing them the best and his family. Perhaps someday the Grenlock Clan name will be restored. Safe journey Spiritmaster. You are awarded experience!" You receive Spririt-dweller's Gloves from Anrid! You have finished the Siv's Spirit quest. Rewards: Runed Mystical Boots -- Runemaster Spirit-dweller's Gloves -- Spiritmaster Boned Mystic Boots -- Bonedancer Soothsayer Gem -- Warlock Rewards: |

I found Ulga her after some time (left off the road just before the second right turn heading W from Audliten, but whatever I "say" to here she does nothing. Do you communicate using the [enter] key, then typing the message? I tried "grenlock clan" using /say, /tell, /whisper, everything I could think of.
She says something like "how can I help you" in a window, but there is nothing to click on.
Any ideas?
Also, how do you get tasks? Ive tried [ENTER]help[ENTER] to about 100 NPCs but not got a response. /help of course doesnt do the trick either.

Have you looked at the journal to look where you're upto in the quest?
It should say something along the lines of "Seek out Ulga and find the Grenlock Clan [crest]!"
The simple and obvious thing is to '/say crest' to Ulga. Thats all there is to it as long as you're upto this part of the quest.

I found Ulga due west of auditen past the first island and then a little sw around loc 34000,25000. she roams so kill ghouls till she appears.

SIV didn't answer to the keyword "Ulga".
So I killed Ulga once in quest "Reach of the Shadow" ... Is this the cause?

Found Ulga at 37, 23. If you can put a bolt into her as soon as she starts to cast, it seems she'll not summon help. So it went for me, anyway. Good hunt.

I found Siv in broad daylight on the peninsula just across from the guardtower near Dvalin. Ulga lurks up on the plateau up by Huginfell and is blue to 15 RM. She'll have a ghoul spawn when attacked so you might want to bring a friend or two.
With some help from a friend, I completed the whole quest in about an hour. Not bad!

Grenlock crest is needed and that is a class specific quest.

Ulga is fun to fight, the minute you agro her, and I believe she starts out neutral, she summons a couple of helpers then joins in.
Run NW from Huginfell, through the woods, and get to the road next to the camp. Follow it to the end, then when you reach the T-Junction, stop, and turn 180 degrees to face back down the path.
Turn 45 degrees to your left, you are gonna travel in that direction for a bit, not long. If memory serves, the land dips here, and there are a few stumps in the way. She spawns in that dipped area, not too far off the road either, but far enough.
Watch out for the roving dog packs mind, I believe there are two named ones, and pack leaders.
