1) Speak with Ballach at loc=19605,30919,20151 dir=222 in Kobold Undercity.
Ballach says, "Greetings (name). I am in need of assistance. It would seem that there are [graverobbers] disturbing the dead."

Ballach says, "With them running around in there, it makes it difficult to go in and collect the spellcrafting items that I need. Would you be willing to help out?"

Will you patrol the Burial Grounds? [Levels 6-9]
You have been given the Protect the Dead quest.

Ballach says, "Your help will be greatly appreciated. Here, take this map. Go to the patrol points that are noted on the map."

You receive a Patrol Map from Ballach!

[Step #1] Proceed to the first patrol point shown on the map. USE the map to find the location of the patrol.
  • To get to the first patrol point you will need to enter the Burial Grounds via the Southern exit in the Kobold Undercity (do not use the obelisk). When you leave Ballach head straight back to the room where the large statue is. Once your past the statue head straight back and take a right, just follow this tunnel until you zone, around loc=17987, 35407,20150 dir=255. (To use the map, place it on your hotbar, right click on it and type /use, though with the loc's listed here, you really don't need the map.)

    Once you zone follow the tunnel until you get a message saying "You have found the first patrol point", this message will pop up around loc= 21378,12933,16201 dir=187 in Burial Grounds.


    • [Step #1] Proceed to the second patrol point shown on the map. USE the map to find the location of the patrol.
  • The second patrol point location is at loc=29064,34038,16912 dir=108, when you reach this area you will see a message in your chat box saying "(Region) You have entered Patrol Point." you will also have a pop-up box saying "You have found the second patrol point.


    • [Step #1] Proceed to the third patrol point shown on the map. USE the map to find the location of the patrol.
  • Now head east up the tunnel to the third Patrol Point, go to loc=37416,34078,19324 dir=91. As with the second one, you will see a message in your chat box saying "(Region) You have entered Patrol Point." you will also have a pop-up box saying "You have found the final patrol point.


    • [Step #2] Return to Ballach and let him know that you have [finished] the patrol. Give him the map when he asks for it.

    Ballach says, "Are you done with your patrol?"

    Ballach says, "Very good. Hand me the map and I will compensate you for your time."

    Ballach says, "Thank you again (name). Here is your compensation."

    You are awarded 482 experience!
    You are awarded 1 silver and some copper!
    You have finished the Protect the Dead quest.
    (coin and experience was earned by a level 6)
