DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Brief Walkthrough: 1) Speak with Spymaster Quin at loc=32297,9167 Deadlands of Annwn. 2) Kill a Canis Ater Dam Gnoll, loc=31893,11745 Deadlands of Annwn, for her Canis Ater Dam Organs. 3) Kill a Canis Ater Nursemaidl, loc=31893,11745 Deadlands of Annwn, for her Canis Ater Nursemaid Organs. 4) Return to Spymaster Quin, hand him the Canis Ater Dam Organs when he asks for them. 5) Hand Spymaster Quin the Canis Ater Nursemaid Organs when he asks for them for your reward lvl 26 received 3,500,000 experience and 32 silver. Dialog from quest: Speak with Spymaster Quin at loc=32297,9167,15875 dir=326 Deadlands of Annwn. Spymaster Quin says, "Lord Arawn has commanded me to gather intelligence on these gnolls that have laid claim to the Deadlands of Annwn. They call themselves the 'Canis Ater', or black dogs. Needless to say, their presence will not be [tolerated]." Spymaster Quin says, "Of course, only a fool rushes into battle with a foe he does not truly understand, and Lord Arawn is no fool. He seeks to understand these gnolls, and I would like to offer you the chance to assist in this endeavor in exchange for monetary payment. All that we would ask is that you slay two particular gnolls and bring back some of their organs as samples for us to study. Will you do so?" Will you gather the items that Spymaster Quin need? [Levels 26-28] You have been given the Gnoll-edge is Power (Albion) quest. [Step #1] Speak to Spymaster Quin to learn the details of your intelligence gathering [mission] against the gnolls. Spymaster Quin says, "I am grateful for your assistance, Friar, even if your only motivation is to increase your wealth. Let us discuss the particulars of the [mission], then." Spymaster Quin says, "Venture out into the Deadlands and slay a canis ater dam, then collect some of her organs. Do the same with one of the canis ater nursemaids. That should be sufficient for one day's work. You should seek them south by southwest of here. May Arawn guide you and protect you in this duty!" [Step #2] Kill a canis ater dam gnoll. Look south by southwest of Spymaster Quin's location. You gather some organs from the corpse of the canis ater dam gnoll. Your quest journal has been updated. [Step #3] Kill a canis ater nursemaid. Look south by southwest of Spymaster Quin's location. You gather some organs from the corpse of the canis ater dam gnoll. Your quest journal has been updated. [Step #4] Return to Spymaster Quin with the organs you acquired from the canis ater gnolls. Hand him the canis ater dam organs first. Spymaster Quin says, "You smell of gnoll blood. I take this to be a good sign. If you have collected everything I asked of you, please give me the canis ater dam organs first." Spymaster Quin says, "A fine specimen, thank you. Now for the canis ater nursemaid organs." [Step #5] Give the canis ater nursemaid organs to Spymaster Quin to collect your reward for the intelligence-gathering mission. Spymaster Quin says, "Well done, Friar. Here is the coin, as promised. If we can rid ourselves of these gnolls, we will have more resources to dedicate to the reclamation of our Crypt from the thralls that seek to destroy us." You are awarded 3,500,000 experience! You are awarded 32 silver and some copper! You have completed the Gnoll-edge is Power quest! |
