Lighting the Torches

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Sergeant Gonnik is found in Burial Grounds. Sergeant Gonnik says, "Well, hello! Seeing you brings back memories of my early days as an adventurer. You might not think it to look at me, but I started out with [nothing]." Sergeant Gonnik says, "Those were the days... trying to make a name for myself with nothing but a training sword and some mismatched low quality armor. Do you [know] what I'm talking about?" Sergeant Gonnik says, "I often try to find tasks and [errands] that new adventurers can do to earn a few coins and get a little bit of experience. I wish someone had done that for me, it really would have made a big difference." Sergeant Gonnik says, "Would you like some [mentoring]? If so, I have an easy job you could do that would help me out as well." You have been given the Lighting the Torches quest. [level 3-6] Sergeant Gonnik says, "Glad to hear it! Just take this flask of oil and top off the oil in the two torches on the stairs below. You'll USE the oil in the immediate vicinity of the torch. Return to me once the oil is gone and the torches are filled." You receive the Oil Flask from Sergeant Gonnik! You attempt to use the Oil Flask. You fill the lamp at the top of the stairs with oil. You attempt to use the Oil Flask. You empty the rest of the oil from the flask into the lamp at the bottom of the stairs. Sergeant Gonnik says, "Ah, you're back. Good work, Kobold. I can see the torches burning more brightly. Wouldn't want someone to miss a stair in the dark and take a tumble. Will you please hand me the oil flask?" Sergeant Gonnik says, "Thanks for your help, Skald. I know it wasn't a very challenging task, but it helped me out. Here are some coins for you, I hope they help you out as well.
