Visindakona Guri says, "The Gothi are most pleased with the progress we have made, but one task remains. The shaman who united the Vendo, Skelder, remains alive, deep in the caves occupied by his people. Will you aid us in ending his reign?" You have been given the Searching for Skelder (Epic 6) quest. Visindakona Guri says, "The Gothi have every confidence in your abilities, (your name). We are certain that you will prevail in the coming battle. However, we know little about where Skelder resides in the [Vendo Caverns]." Visindakona Guri says, "My latest visions show Skelder as hidden from the sight of searchers. Since our scouts have not been able to locate him within the caverns, I believe that the vision is telling us there is another [entrance] to the caves." Visindakona Guri says, "While I do not know where to begin searching for another entrance, I will prepare a wand to help you in your search. Allow me a moment to prepare the enchantment." Visindakona Guri casts a spell! A shield surrounds The Visindakona Guri. Visindakona Guri says, "Here is the wand. Invoke its magic when you draw close to the entrance of the Vendo Caverns. I would caution you against going alone. Bring three or four close allies with you; Skelder is a most dangerous enemy." You receive the Guri's Wand from Visindakona Guri! You attempt to use the Guri's Wand. Using the wand outside of Vendo Caverns creates an instance. You have entered Mid 30. Current area is adjusted for four level 42 players. (I was a solo level 50) You attack Skelder with your scepter and hit for 62 (+6) damage! Skelder dies! You receive the Mysterious Letter from Skelder! Visindakona Guri says, "Welcome back, (your name). Was the wand able to help you find the hidden entrance to Skelder's [lair]?" You tell Visindakona Guri about your expedition into the lair of the Vendo shaman Skelder and about your battle with him. You also mention the mysterious letter you found on his corpse. Visindakona Guri says, "Thank the gods that Skelder has been stopped. We always believed it impossible for the Vendo to overcome their petty tribal squabbles and prove to be much of a threat. The emergence of a strong leader caught us off guard. May I have that letter?" Visindakona Guri says, "Hmm. I don't recognize the seal on this letter. Before opening it, I shall ask the Gothi if they know what this crest represents. I have a feeling that the contents of this letter may indicate that our troubles have not come to an end, [after all]." Visindakona Guri says, "But, enough of that for now. Congratulations are in order for a job well done, (your name). Please accept this gift from the Gothi as a token of their thanks for your service to the realm in these dark times." You receive the Hand of Dawn Jewel from Visindakona Guri! You are awarded 49 silver and some copper! You are awarded 23,119,656 experience! Skelder connded red to me going in with myself (at 30) and another 30. Took him out without much trouble
