DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Per patch 1.75b: - Goblin Hunting - This quest is now geared towards players between levels 22 and 32. (1.08.07 Reported that a Infiltrator received quest at lvl 20.) This starts out in Caer Ulfwych with a lady who is standing outside. She is Huntress ... but she asks if you to bring back the bows of 2 Sylvan Goblin Hunter's and the remains of a boy that was taken by them. Right behind the building there is a hill that you can go to and spot them. Some give a message that he is too smart for you because he hid his bow but most drop their bow and remains. Bring them back for money and experience. lvl 22 received 908,000 exp lvl 24 received 2,621,440 exp |

Just go east of campacorentin station to the top of hill where goblin flag is and look down...hunters are there and you automatically get remains when you get 2 bows. Hunters were yellow for my lvl 24 caby

At 24 after killing 6 Warriors and 4 hunters, I got 2,621,440 XP and a whopping 18 silver :)
I'll take the XP anytime.
At 24 everything in the area was either yellow or orange so they definately increased the level of this quest.

908,000 at level 21. 1 bub and a little. I found yellow hunters in the camp south of keltoi f.
Go to Campacorentin Forest loc: 25342,11174 and face Southwest.
Within 1500 units (range) of that location is the spawn point for a Sylvan Goblin Hunter.
Continue killing anything you can reach without moving from that location (facing SW) and the Sylvan Goblin Hunter will spawn.
Kill 3 and the quest is complete.
Remember, the Sylvan Goblin Hunters now use stealth graphics, so keep your eyes open! ;-)

This has been upgraded to a level 20 quest with the adjustments made to Campa. Forrest. The MOBs behind Ulf. are now OJ+ to my Infliltrator at 21.

I did this one as a level 18 Paladin, having never heard of it before. It's easy enough but not worth doing at higher levels. It isn't shown on some maps but the Caer has horses north and south so it's easy enough to go there, do the quest, and go elsewhere.

I got this quest from my trainner (paladin trainner at camelot) at lvl 20. The quest name is :Globin hunting. I figured out Goblin hunting is exactly the same quest as this one.(but the quest doesn't give you any clue where to find sylven goblin hunter, I had a hard time figured it out) Since i don't like to have any imcomplete quest in my journal, so I went hunt slyvan globin hunter even he is way too low to me. Surprisingly I've got a chain armor drop off from the sylen globin hunter after I killed him, and the armor is yellow to me still when i'm lvl 21-22.
It's never harm to finishe a quest that ur trainner gives you.

At level 7 the crier in Camelot told me to go seek out Huntress Lenna for this quest.

all you have to do is kill 3 goblin hunters when you find them and you will get 2 bows and the remains. that's it!

I was doing this quest yesterday and i was killing the hunters and got 1 bow and the remains BUT my journal said I got 2 bows, so i went back to Lenna and gave her the 1 that i really got, but i didn't have another so I go back and kill ike 60 hunters and I can't get another bow, what should I do?

File an appeal. Explain what happened and they will reset the quest for you.

To add to this one, I just got this quest at lvl 17.
Even though the mobs are all gray to me, the quest items do drop.

Just east of the Camp. Station bind stone is a small goblin camp on a big hill with 2 hunter spawns that ranged from blue to orange to my level 7 Inf. last night. I grouped with a Thurg and we easily controlled the hill. The quest was pretty easy, I got some XP and 2 silver pcs. I was hoping to keep a bow, though.

Agreed. If you want to do this quest at level 7 that tall hill (loc=24k,11k) is the place to hunt the hunters. Just be sure to pull the hunter down the hill a bit because the respawn is almost instantaneous.

i got the 2 bows and the remains but i dropped one of the bows on accident now i cant get anymore bows to drop is there any way to get another one?

I did this at level 7.There's a camp with some easier hunters when you run towars salisbury plains.

I did this quest quickly at Level 12 and got less experience than I get for killing a green--. Not worth the time to run out and kill the goblins. Should have done it earlier.

got the quest on my first visit to Caer, walked behind the castle and died right off by some purple spider .. luckly for me bound in Caer.
Went back a second time and saw a yellow and orange gobbie group .. charmed the yellow, nuked the orange, got all three parts off the orange.
Reward was something like 3 silver and almost 2 exp gems ..
Not too shabby for 10 minutes work

I had a rough time but i thoughoughly enjoyed this quest.
I made two mistakes doing this quest.
first when i was talking to the huntress, I got the quest and she told me where to find the goblins and asked me to return their bows. Cool, I accepted the quest, but she said there was another task... i couldn't get her to tell me what it was for some reason.. still not sure why.. so i figured i'd get teh bows then find out what else she needed.... big mistake! I'll get to that part latter.
I made the second mistake by hunting in the area behind Cear Ulfwych. It was hard. There were lots of agressive orange and red and purple monsters around for a level 8 to get kiled by. I started out grouped with a level 6 theurge. We joined with a level 10 paladin and hunted the area.. it was tough... died once or twice, almost died many many times.. but in the process i advnaced as did the theurge. We had killed lots of goblin hunters (which were mostly blue to me at level 9) but none had dropped a bow. I then cheack my log book, it said to ask huntress lenna about something...
i thought i was doing my quest but i wasn't, lesson learned, never proceed with a quest without cheacking your log book!
I went back, and managed to get her to tell me about trey's remains... once i did that next pair of goblins we encountered i got one bow! Paladin left, so the pair of us now 7th and 9th level continued... got the next bow very quickly, then the remains.
In the process i had a great time, learned the forest a bit (I havn't spent much tme in the forest so far), advanced and aided the good people of Cear Ulfwych!
I recommend this quest highly as a for fun quest, though you don't get any specail item or anything. so as far as character development for time spent... i'd rate it below average.
than agian what's more important, having fun or getting fancy treasure? ME: the answer is fun!

I just did this quest. All I have to show for the effort is 2sp :( btw, the one behind the Caer Ulfwych also drops bows as well, might be a tad too high for lvl 8, but they dropped bows and remains of Citizen Trey for me. In any event, this quest is not worth doing, IMHO.

Did anyone notice in the quest description that Huntress Lenna mentions that some Goblin King called Ulaf or something has moved into the area.. It is his band of goblins that are harrying the good people of Caer Ulfwych.
Well has anyone got a quest to kill him yet - because he lives on the hills to the SW of the Caer, near the Wood Ogre Mystics etc.

I talked to this same huntress at lvl 19 and i got this same quest! But after the bows she also told me to go find some corpse too, anyone know where this corpse is?

If you head directly out the front door of the keep, and hang a slight, and I mean slight left, just run straight out. You'll go to the top of a big hill and you just have to kill a few hunters. The first gave me the "ha ha" message, but after 3 more kills, I had 2 bows and a body in my inventory.

Agreed. Go to the ones behind Lethanis. Most where blue (some yellows) at level 7. Grouped with two guys and had the items in 5 min (bows and remains, they just appear in your inventory).

I did this quest and once I got the two bows I just kept killing the same goblins for a little while more. Then I checked my inventory and the remains were there. So sometime when I was killing the goblins they dropped the remains also.
