DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Per Patch 1.60: - Malignant Creatures: All players should now be able to complete this quest. AND - The following Albion gems can now be recharged: Caster's Minding Thoughts, Strengthening Power, Quickening Power, Darkening Powers. AND For Co-op: - Animists and Valewalkers should now be able to continue working on the Stoneheart Quest. The Malignant Creatures quest starts in Little Haven in Caldey. Little Haven is around loc 46/19. The NPC that gives the quest is Mordwywr (the enchanter in town). Mordwywr is in the largest building in Little Haven. I received this quest at L48 and the reward includes a L48 gem - not sure if you can get the quest before that level. You have to kill 7 undead creatures. I killed these: phantom magi, defiled skeleton, headless footman, grasping ghoul, ebon skeleton, corpse delver, and haunted rowan -- all yellow and easy kills to a level 48(found at loc=60k 56k). Quest reward was 6 gold and some copper, 2,377,658,624xp (about 3/4 bub I think to L48), and a gem for jewel slot, most likely class specific. I am a wizzie and received Caster's Minding Thoughts. I did this at 46, all mobs were yellow to me as well. I only received 1.8 billion exp, but it was still 3/4 of a bub for me -- I think therefore that it scales according to level. My reward (as a friar) was Darkening Powers. A 48 scout received 2.3 billion exp. I tried to kill other undead, but only the ones on the list dropped items for me. The three that didn't were corpse mold, gangrenous mass, and a ghoul desecrator. The gem I got had 5 charges of a 15s self damage shield, with a delved rating of 5. Since someone else got a different gem, you might actually get a decent charge on one. 1.8 billion xp at level 46, roughly a bulb or a little more. A lvl 43 friar with us couldn't get the quest yet. Quest reward for a level 50 paladin who completed the quest: 3,137,339,392 experience (One bubble of exp at lvl 46.) 6 gold Strengthening Power (Gem) lvl 48 necro received: 2,377,658,624 exp 6 gold and some copper rewarded Caster's Minding Thoughts lvl 46 received 1,801,928,334 exp. lvl 47 received 2,069,872,107 exp. lvl 49 received 2,731,212,567 exp. lvl 50 received 4,706,009,088 exp. As a lvl 46 nekro I got 1.801.928.334 exp, which was more than 1 bub :)

They are WAY southeast of little haven... in the corner of Gwyddneau and Dewvy... I found them at 60k 56k... Theres a huge, broken down tower and they are right around that.
To use the bag, I just right clicked on it and typed /use... It automatically fills the bag up and then I gave it to the guy...

They are SE from Little Haven. There are quite a few near the border with Dales of Devwy.

NO ONE should do this quest before 49. It is a complete bub of exp at 49!!!! Save this valuable quest until then. Good luck all
took 30min, head south from LH. almost a bub at lvl 49, much appreciated.

got the quest at 46 , dinged 47 while getting the pieces , got .9 bub xp.

Complain all you want about the loot, but I got a whole bub of exp at level 46! That much exp at this level is pretty significant in my book!

I have all the items, and it says to use the bag to hold the items. I cannot place anything in the bag, and cannot turn the items in. Please help.

K, once you have all 7 items, put the bad into your hotbar, hold e, and click the bag. all the items should go into the bag automatically.

I am a level 46 Paladin, and I have not been able to get the quest. I got neutral faction with the villagers, and after 200-300 kills of the undead in the vicinity, I gave up trying to get friendly faction. Shouldn't take 4-5 hours to get started with a quest, should it?
I am not able to get any reaction from the Enchanter, except that he can enchant my items. A friend of mine, level 47 minstrel, has had the exact same problem.
I play on Europe server, so patch 1.60 is out yet...if that's the problem, I'm quite upset at wasting 5 hours and not getting the quest.

Be cautious when you enter the town, as this town does have a faction to it. It is very possible to end up with a poor faction, and have the entire town be agro to you. Uncertain as to which creature(s) sway it either way.

You can get this quest at lvl47. The reward for a caster is a waste of time (10 charges of an af75 shield), but you do get around a full bub of xp when you complete the quest AT lvl47.
The barbarians are very easy to gain a faction with. All the mobs around the area that are undead will raise the faction with them.
