DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Below is the begining information for the Artifact weapon the Fools Bow, if you know more information please send it in . Aidoios is the sphinx that knows about the Fools Bow. Ask Hesper south of Hesperos Haven and she'll tell you who to ask. Apprentice Loremasters generally tell where to find the scrolls. "deep underwater shaft" and "seek harpies that circle the sea", Fools Bow can be found at 31k, 34k - in Ocean Notos (just north or Aeros), will need to kill the octopi there until the bow drops. Note: the Frustrated Harpies MUST be circling before you can begin to hunt the argo octopi. Scrolls: Fools Bow 1 of 3 droped off a Melos Summoner at the 35k, 35k, normal mob at loc meso 34k 5k dropped Fools Bow 2 of 3 -- drops from Melos Gyres and melos spear fisher (Meso loc 38.3/43.2) Fools Bow 3 of 3 -- drops from melos spear fisher (Meso loc 38.3/43.2) Once you have the 3 scrolls in your inventory you simply click one on top of the others and they combine into a single scroll. Make sure your bow character is the one that puts the scrolls together because they then become no trade no sell. Dialog from combining the 3 scrolls:

I spent 3 plat on the bow and scrolls, But I cant put then togethere, Why?? Im a lvl 42 scout, do I need to go get the quest frist or can I just put them together?? if so how do I do this?? Plz help:) thanks
Hiya Reconsnipper, you need to participate on a Fool's Bow run to get credit for doing the "quest" in order to be able to activate the Fool's Bow.

Ok first of all you need to be 46 to get the bow, second, when I got it, I tried for hours just killing the ones that ran away and never got a bow. (I have seen it posted on many sites that the one with the bow will run, but there are dozens that do that). Then a few ranger friends and I got together and decided to just kill everything in the pit to clear it out, and the bow dropped. The Argo we got if from, never blinked, never acted funny, and never ran away. So, just get to killing and eventually it will drop.
Does anyone know if you have to be 50 for the bow to drop? I'm level 44 and I've been camping these things for almost 8 hours with no luck. I already have the full story, all I need is the bow drop. Thanks.
I have yet to see anything posted saying what makes them spawn. However if this follows the same patteren just like ever other artifact then there is a reset timer of a given time range then it will respawn. No harpies means come back later and don't bother camping for now.

Apparently the bow (harpies?) have a 12 hour respawn time, so if you dont see any harpies circling above the surface you should spend your time hunting the scrolls instead, since it can be quite a while before you get a chance to hunt the bow again.
It might be a good idea to bring a few friends with you when you hunt the squids (although you should be able to solo them as they con yellow to a lvl 50), but sometimes they call for help and you'll be fighting 4 of them all in a sudden ;)

when do the frustrated harpies circle?
I have seen a few post reguarding the one "Agro" who acts funny. He has been said to be the one w/ the bow. Well I got the luck of taking a PBAOE group down to that spawn and clearing the whole pit of the things. Without telling anyone about this rumor someone in the group DID notice 1 Agro who was moving faster than the rest. With just about the whole pit of agro's gone at the time it did seem as thou this one agro was moving at a faster rate than the other we had killed. He was also quicker to try to run once attacked. Hope this helps.

what makes the frusterated Harpies spawn. i camped them for like an hour and they never came. anyone know??

Frustrated Harpies MUST be circling before you can begin to hunt the argo octopi for the Fools Bow.. if they are not, you will be hunting for a long time.
