DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Gwaell, in Audliten, can make you a Tomte Jerkin if you bring her 3 tomte bracers, which are dropped by tomtes in the camp in East Svealand. Gwaell says, "Do you have [a moment]?" Gwaell says, I've notived you do not have one of my [tomte jerkins] on you." Gwaell says, "I have learned how to craft them from a few [tomte bracers]." Gwaell says, "Yes, the jerkin requires a total of three tomte bracers in order to have enough material to create. You show interest in this object. Would you like me to [craft one] for you?" Gwaell says, "Very well then, find three of these bracers and return them to me." Bracers only drop from Tomte thugs and you can still do this quest if the thugs are gray. Your reward is a Tomte Jerkin Rewards: |

As a note, I think I did this quest at around level 7. Gwaell never gave me the quest, but using the info I got from here, I collected 3 bracers and just gave them to her. Upon the third bracer, she gives you the Tomte Jerkin.

My friend and I could not get this quest from her at 6th level - I am a warrior and he is a Beserker.

I confirmed that the bracers you get in Nisse are not the same ones. The top level for this quest should be changed to reflect the level at which Thugs are grey cons. Once they are grey to you you cant do this quest.

Gwaell did not offer this quest to my skald at either level 5 or 6. When I went to look for the tomtes anyway, the first one I found was an aggressor that was deep purple to me, so I thought maybe it was a higher level quest.

Assuming the bracers that the tomte in Nisse drop are the same this quest is broken on Isuelt. She will not take the bracers from me. I am level 9 berserker.

From what I noticed, when I was slaying Tomte Thugs (before hearing of this quest), I was getting the bracers. I learned of the quest after the Tomte Thugs were black, and since it isn't truly a quest (i.e., a quest box doesn't come up), I can't get any bracers from Thugs anymore. I've never seen the bracers on any of the other Tomtes.

(At least) Thugs and skirmishers (all I can safely kill so far) both will drop the bracers...whether you have talked to Gwaell yet or not. Not every one of them drop a bracer though, maybe 1 out of 3 or so from limited hunting.

Every bracer me and my friend got was off a thug and thats after killing by the tower for a few hours. So if your looking for them just nuke the thugs.

Well...I got the quest from the NPC and started killing blue Tomte's. I have yet to get a bracer drop from any of them. What is the secret???

Just wondering if its dyable, I think i'll get my Thane to try it out. Sounds like a nice Jerkin, just hope I can throw some sloppy-cheap dye on it 8)

Im level 7 and Gweaell doesn't offer quest. Just info on the Tomtar and blodasshats. Any help is appreciated

Gwaell is located out front of the only building in the "other half" of Audliten - the part with the tent merchants and NOT the bind stone.

Shadowblades can do this quest as well, but there was a previous quest I had done for the Sveawolf Mothers stuff that at the end the guy said okay the people in the town are more friendly now blah...blah...blah. It may be that they need to do the quests that make the town more friendly to them.

My shaman got +9hp also from it.
Wanted to add that my groupmates - a skald and warrior, both same level as me - could not get Gwaell to talk to them. Is this only offered to Seers since fighters can already wear studded at this point?
Oh, and the Start zone in the box above says West Svealand and it should be East

BTW The Tomte Jerkin also gives you +9 hp, did to my Shaman anyway.
