For those of you trying to get this one-time drop...

The location listed is not correct, at least not 100% of the time. After clearing the camp at the location for an hour or so, we decided to leave. We started running back to DC (northwest direction iirc) and came upon a camp of more empyrean overseers to the left of the well that is plainly visible.
Niy was there.
Save yourself some time, if you're looking. There's also a camp to the south of the camp listed in the original location of this thread which I did not see Niy at, but he may spawn there as well.
As for the sword, it cons yellow to a lvl 40 and it absolutely wrecks.

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Kill Niy the Overseer and get the War Blade of the Stoic. Head NE from Caille till you reach a plateau with a well on it, head S from the well to near the Cursed Forest entrance. You may have to kill Emperyean Overseers till Niy spawns. If this ruins your faction, kill Siabra to regain it. Only Large Weapon users will get the drop. [Note on Niy: Niy spawns @ roughly 60.5k/15.4k you may have to kill Overseers in area to get Niy to spawn It is easier to head into the hills from Durim Cain to get to this spot. Got this last night. Had to take out 3 linked mobs that conned low orange/high yellow at level 41.
I brought help, killed first group of linked mobs, and Niy + guards spawned immediately after.
I would highly suggest getting this blade. 100% and the DD proc does some decent damage. Spent a few hours fighting Weewares in CM and the proc was averaging 90 damage every 5 - 10 swings.

You can actually get the drop at level 39, not 40.

why does the overseers baf when im alone in no groups and no buffs 3 attack me
The overseer can be 'tied' with upto 4 other Empyreans, regardless of group size or how they are pulled... similar to pairs of Anger Sprites, Gurites, other Empyreans, Lunatishees/Blackthorn etc... all the these and a lot of others will always bring a friend because they are tied mobs...

Do I have to be lvl40 to get that Marvellous swrod, OR can I get it in lower lvls too if I cam a 2-handed weapons wielder ?
