This quest starts out in the throne room by buying an Ice Horse voucher from Quartermaster. Then you head over to the Royal Stable Master (outside the round table room). Talk to him to start the quest. He tells you to go to Snowdonia Station and see the stable master (Trachon) there to get a "Frost Bridle-and-Bit" to control the steed. Trachon gives you a spiel about a cruel liege lord who rode through on a hunt and caused the death of one of his servants by sending him out in the cold with no warm clothes. The ghost of this poor servant is now terrorizing the surroundings and Trachon wants you to go out and lay him to rest and he'll give you the bridle-and-bit. Go and kill the wandering mob named "Cauld Lad" who wanders the hills around the station. I spent quite some time looking for him, and eventually found him directly south of the station just as night fell, so there is a possibility that this is a night only spawn. He was a transparent-looking human who conned orange+ to my level 50 Reaver. When killed head back to Snowdonia Station and talk to Trachon again and he'll give you the bridle. Return to Camelot to turn in the bridle to get your Ice Steed. Looks great riding along leaving a sparkling icy trail behind you.
