DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. Per Patch 1.76: - Morven's Return - Vampiirs will now be able to choose the piercing dagger as a reward for this quest. I was sent to Cathbad in Howth, then Sholto in Innis Carthaig, and then retrieving a soul gem from a Gemclicker Horder in Coruscating Mines. The Gemclicker Horder is in Coruscating Mines. Follow the left wall down to the left smaller sentry room (not the one that leads to the pit). He looks like a Gemclicker, but name clearly shows Gemclicker Horder, so wait for him. Next take the Soul Gem to the Enchantress. To find her, go to North Entrance of TNN, go directly NorthWest to hill. Up hill to center, then go due North past Clurikeens to thier little village. She is in the building at the north end (aprox loc=10k, 36k). She summons Lucan (sp?). you must says "Morven's Heirs" to him. She summons Lucan, who asks you to kill heirs of Morven, all 3 are giants in the frontier, and they must be killed in order. Take their heads to the trainer who gave you the quest in TNN, you are then told to go kill Morven. He is NE of Behnn around the area of 55k, 40k (NEW FRONTIERS loc=15k / 3k in Breifine, also seen at loc=17,700, 2600, near the river). To find him, head East by South-East towards Dun da Behnn, North-East of it at location 57k,34k. He is the REALLY BIG GUY. Return Morven's head to Cathbad for your reward. Rewards: |

All attempts at getting the third head have left me deceased at the hands of either Mid or Alb gank groups :( Seems kinda unfair to send a lvl 40 out near a keep :(

In the New Frontiers, the third heir, Reammon is on a hilltop at 41.3k 30.1k in Breifine. There were no adds, as the poor Druid described. Reammon was Yellow to me at Lvl 48.
For the record, the second heir, Uileog, is not to be found on the bank of the river. The location (60k, 17.5k) is correct, but Uileog pops next to a standing stone at the bottom of Moonlight Hill.

Found Morven in NF at Breifine 17,700, 2600, near the river. OJ to me at 45 VW, but went down easily.

I'm a druid and Cathbad gave me a choice of weapons first few I tried to take wouldn't work for class ended up with:

I have a level 41 animist on Percival, and I cannot seem to get the level 40 quest to receive the "First Branch of Spring". I've been to my original trainer in Domnann, and he has nothing for me. Is there even an animist trainer in TNN? If so, is it them I need to see? Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks, Enara

You dont take the heads to Morven. You take them to (in my case) the druid in TNN who gave you the quest.
Then he tells you to go kill morven. The journal tells you exactly that :-)

No, you don't need to kill a Gemclicker Horder anymore. As of patch 1.56, all you need to do to get a soul gem is to kill a normal gemclicker.

2nd. Head back towards DL entrance. There is a small camp North-West of the entrance with Uileog at it.
3rd. Head back North-East to the road leading to Briefine. There is a small tower to the left of the road. You will find Raemon there. This one my group of two ended up getting 6 Adds. Seven total, with six at one time. Barely made it with a level 50 Hero (I am a Level 40 Druid).
Ok next I found Morven. To find him, head East by South-East towards Dun da Behnn, North-East of it at location 57k,34k. He is the REALLY BIG GUY. Was Red to me at level 40.
I was NOT able to get his head after us killing him 7 times. I tried showing him the heads. I tried killing him (instead of Hero) but hard for a non-fighting Druid to kill a Red.
My journal said to take the heads to the guy back at TNN, but I believe it meant only Morven's. I tried showing him the other three, but no go.
So back out to Morven I go. This time, I am going to try to show him the heads before he aggros (if that is possible)
Anyone have a clue how to get Morven's head off. I have no sword to cut it off myself.

There's a step that's missing in all of these notes... at least for druids... after getting the 3 heads your journal will tell you to go see Lovernios in the TNN garden outside where the vault keeper is (same place you went to see Lucan). Lovernios is always there not just at night. He will ask for the heads in order. Your journal will update at the point to tell you to talk to Morven. I didn't talk to Morven just killed him and got his head first try which I then took to Cathbad.

Blademaster reward is a really nice falcata usable in left hand 14.1 dps/2.2 spd 100%qual 25% bonus, "Cathbad's blade". This blade I think is usable by other classes. An ideal blade to use at fins due to it's spead, you'll get enough taunts off to keep the aggro off the casters.
Each class gets a different reward from this quest. A good one to get help with and finish at level 40

If the only reward is the staff, why give this quest to blademsasters or druids? makes no sense if that is only real reward other than money or xp.

When i finished the quest as a BM cathbad gave me the choice of a FALCATTA, GREATSWORD, DAGGER, GREATER RECURVE BOW, SPIKED MACE, SPEAR, SHIELD, or if you a caster i you choose from what staff you want. i picked the spiked mace, its called a Formorian's Fist.

you find ronat SW of the tower you you see when you are going to dun bolg.
uileog is on the right site when you go the way in the frontier from drum liegen . he is a famoria with a guard!
reamon is in the tower before bolg .. a cyclop with a guard too..
