Lost Townfolk of Bran Llyr

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. Per Patch 1.53: Lost Townsfolk of Bran Llyr - Clodagh and Enan will now respond correctly and transport players on the quest. Do not be grouped while waiting on transport or you will not be transported. NOTE: Your steps and tasks may vary. This one I got from Mavelle Master Ranger Trainer in TnN, when I trained there at level 40 and is unfinished from lack of info. Step 1). Go see the chief in Culraid.(on Europe servers he is found in the Palace of Tir Na Nog) Step 2). Go see the smith in Connla.(on Europe servers the Smith is in Alain Binn) (option #2:Warden: Step #2- Speak with the smith Dalladra in Alainn Binn. (option #3:Hero: Step #2- Speak with the smith Siobahn in Innis Carthaig. Step 3). Talk to Siabra Gurite Tiomoid in Lough Ger. (option #2:Warden: Step #3- Speak with Tiomoid (loc 5/55 in Lough Gur).) (option #3:Hero: Step #3- Speak with Enan (loc 30/10 in Bog of Cullen). Step 4) (option #1:Warden: Step #4- Kill 3 curmudgeon puggards in Cruachon Gorge (loc=20400, 16000, NF Puggard is in Mount Coloroy at about 60K, 21K. It’s the far East side in a Curmudgeon Camp. Also with Scrappars.(Also seen ar 55k,18k Mt Collory) return their heads to Tiomoid. (option #2:Hero: Step #4- Kill 3 curmudgeon scrappers in Mount Collory and return their heads to Enan.) I found him (Tiomoid) near the extreme South-West courner of Lough Gur. Simply travel south along the western zone line until you see a couple glowing-mushroom camps, Tio is at the southern part. If for some reason Tiomid doesn't seem to want to tell you anything, /say sympathy, and he will respond. Tio asks for 3 noses from Curmudgeon Puggards. These are found in the Crauchan Gorge at loc 34800, 52620, basically North East from Drum Ligen. Conned Yellow to me at lvl 41. Bring these 3 noses back to Tio and he offers to help you or help you help yourself. I selected the [Get me there] option and he teleported me to a point just east of Innis. (free ride out of there, I suggest this option) Now you need to only get 1 of 4 things to prove to Chief Bran Llyr The easiest way I found is to go to Coruscating Mines and kill a Silvermine Sentry for his ear. Bring this ear back to Chief Bran Llyr in Culraid and the rest of the quest is simple enough. The keyword for german server is not "may get proof" anymore. The keyword is now "selber überzeugen". I found those puggards in Mount Collory at 60.000, 23065 (NEW FRONTIERS loc=57.6 15.6 in Mt Collory). Leave DC and follow the zone wall to your right for a while Rewards: Rewards: |

I solo’d this with my L41 Void Eldy.
It’s a fairly straightforward quest except step #9 is a bit vague.
This is when you go back to talk to Bran with proof.
I had the wrong skeleton bone and couldn’t get him to talk to me.
IF you have one of the 4 items, you will be on step #10 so that’s a good way to make sure you got the right proof.

Woah.. I found Tiamoid, found the Puggards, got noses, returned to Tiamoid who said i needed to go to CM, and if i wanted he could teleport me there.. but instead he teleported me to Cullen's Bog, saying you should not have trusted me... My journal says i need three things before returning to the smith, so he would believe me.. they are all things to find in CM so.... manage to get back to Innis and have a looooong horse ride to TNN to port to DC to run to CM... shoulda gone there on foot in the first place.. so be warned. heh.. well, not finished yet.. omw to CM
Found the curmudgeon puggards next to the curmudgeon ratoners at 18,700 16,200 (right next to the Merchant Town up in the NW corner of Cruachon Gorge). They are in the grove as you come through the wall to go towards the town. They are slow pop (took forever for them to pop actually).
In NF puggards loc is 20400, 16000

I just did this quest tonight, and I found a very annoying bug. I already put in a /appeal on it, so hopefully it'll be fixed eventually, but I thought I'd warn folks in the meantime.
The smith in Alain Binn told me to talk to Enan, and indicated that he is to the southwest of the town. The quest journal said the same thing. I nearly got myself killed by all the nasty, purple aggro things to the southwest of there.
The big problem is that Enan is actually far to the northwest of Alain Binn, as I found out when I gave up on trying to avoid really high level things like pookas, eidolons and lhiannan-sidhe and just looked up his /loc.
Long story short, if the smith in the bog tells you to go to the southwest to find Enan, ignore him!

I am on Gaheris (Coop). Tiomoid asks for 3 heads from Curmudgeon Scappers instead of the 3 noses. Then he sends you to "tell all the Siabras". The journal doesn't specify anything else. Anyone have any specific information?

I was about to spend a frustrating trip into aggro country (Alain Bin in Bog) when I figured, "I'm in Innis, why not check the smith here." Low and behold, she was the one I needed. I got near the door and she called out to me to talk to her. Nice. Happy not to spend a useless trip to the bog!

Curmudgeon Scrappers are to be found 50k, 4k in Cruachan Gorge its a whole bunch of them.

I have found 2 problems after i returned the 3 heads to tiaomoid: One is that I was asked to find 3 Scrappers and they were very hard to find in the Frontier even knowing the Zone to go to Mount Collory (sp). after I got the 3 heads required I returned to Tiaomoid and he asked for the heads, I gave them to him and then
after he had taken all 3 he was acting like I had only given him 2, was asking for another. I checked my Quest Journal Log and it showed I had
completed this step. Others mention being teleported, I was not so lucky?
The Journal said something about my Trustworthyness and said I needed to
speak with all the siabra? What Siabra? there were none near Tiamonds camp

here was the what the csr sent in responce to my appeal when I got the same message!

Finding the correct random smith was time consuming and frustrating. I tried every smith in Hibernia (not SI of course), and it ended up that my random smith was in Alainn Bin in Bog of Cullen. Lots of aggro getting there and there is no horse route. :/ Anyway, it appears most people either get the Connla smith or the Alainn Bin smith, so to cut down on all the time searching in frustration, I'd suggest trying those two first.
Also, as mentioned by others, the siabra NPC assigned to each of us can vary. Apparently you will get either Enan, Clodagh or Tiomoid. There is some conflict in the earlier messages posted here, with mispelled names of the NPCs and also their locations. Thus, these NPCs are correctly located as follows:
Enan: 28k,10k, in Bog of Cullen
Clodagh: 7k, 55k in Lough Gur is where I found him (NOT 41k, 28k Bog of Cullen, although some people swear they find him there.) I'd suggest trying the Lough Gur location first. Maybe he spawns in both places? Weird.
Tiomoid: Extreme southwest corner of Lough Gur
I wish someone had told me all this before I spent hours running around. LOL! Anyway, good luck to you!

I tried to talk to Tiomoid and all he did was stare at me but did not tell me to get any noses. Anyone have that problem. It looks to me like he hates me lol

When I first got the bow it needed repairs after about 120 arrow shots, I reported this bug twice before the 153 patch. Last nite after the patch I found out that after 5 arrow shots it needs repaired. So I filed another bug report.

I'm supposed to talk to a siabra called Clodagh, and according daoc.warcry she's to be found at
41k,28k in the Bog. But I can't find her there!

I just finished this quest with my Hero and a Warden friend. She had to find Clodagh as well as you do. We found him at 7K, 55K in Lough Gur not in the Bog.

Had to find a random smith, and it was the one in Bog of Cullen. Then speak to Eavan, loc 28606,10010, 4944, dir 312. Eavan asks for proof of your sincerity by getting 3 crum puggards noses, (south wall of Cruchan Gorge in frontier) and bring them back to him. You need to state "may have proof". Eavan then will ask you if you trust him, the answer is no. He will then transport you near Innis. You will need to go to Corcuscating Mines to get one of the items on the list to bring to Chief Bran Lyr and then Chief will direct you to the lady in the tree who will give you a choice of reward. I am a piercing heroine and there were no piercing weapons to chose, :(, so I took the Sol Protector which is a very nice shield. Hope this helps.

I am also doin the hero version, but Evan did not tell me to hunt puggards, i'm supposed to hunt scrappers....if anyone could help with the location of the scrappers could you please respond. Thanks and happy hunting =)
Scappers and puggards are in Cruachan Gorge along south wall is where I found some.

when i first did this quest with my lev 43 warden i to could not get the ear. till i appealed. many days later my appeal came. i found out that u have to go back to enon and say (may get proof) so i hope this helps any one out

I have run into the same problem at step 9.
When I turned in the heads to Enan, he starts casting a spell, but I'm not ported. The journal log IS updated. I then tried killing siabra's and silvermine sentries, but nothing dropped...

Having problem finding tiomoid. I found the mushroom camp but a gurite archer attacked us and after we killed it another came and subsequently thereafter another, another, another. About 30 came in a row and after so long all were dead until they started respawning. But none of them were Tiomoid, we even came around the south side to try again and started the chain over again. Anyone that has loc of tiomoid please help? Thank you

im told to talk to the siabra about the [townsfolk], it dosnt tel me any sertain ones just it sais talk to all of them, and when i try this i get killed, so i am stuck at the moment. any idea what to do?

If the elves are aggressive towards you, you need to get neutral faction with them. Try killing curmudgeons.

I had the same problem, so I filed an appeal and got excellent help from the CSR. hope this info helps
