Wug's Jug

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. Your trainer will tell you to talk to Anrai, and she will tell you of a careless lucragen by the name of Wug has stolen a clay pot from the house of one of the merchants in Tir Na mBeo. Wug is difficult to find due to his size but tends to wander just behind the town near the circle of flat stone rocks (loc 18, 49) and on the hill to the left of there. He wanders anywhere from 17k to 20k and 53k to 59k. (Note: It has been suggested that by killing the Bristle and the 2 Lucridans in Wug's location may help in making Wug spawn.) After the initial dialog he will start to walk away, and speaking with him again will result in the pot at which time he became hostile towards me. He will assist other lucradens in combat and you cannot run from him even while sprinting. Semi-dangerous if your reputation is low since there tends to be others nearby. Both he and the other wild lucradens in the area tend to range from 9th-11th level. Return the clay pot for your reward. *I spent some time looking for Wug, he was nowhere to be found, a named badger, Bristle however was up the whole time, i killed it to see if it was taking up Wugs spot and about 5 minutes after it died Wug showed up. My quest for the jug was quite different, having found Wug in a bunch of trees SW of TNM he preceeded to tell me he had had his lucky rabbits foot eaten by a badger. Ithen killed one of the nearby badgers, a yellow for me at lev 11, which dropped the foot. I returned it to Wug and he happily gave me the pot, without me having to harm or kill him. Before this I had tried killing Wug but he failedto drop the pot upon death. And yes you must kill Bristle the badger if he is there instead, or Wug will not appear. Bristle appeared orange to me. Not a problem EXCEPT that the direction I found WUG was south by southwest of town not west. Once I found him it was really easy. Just go to the south of town and look for alot of Cluricaun Trip guys and he will be around them.
found the little guy tonight...finally. He was on the hill as said in an earlier post but it is a random badger who has the foot

This quest was given to my 13 Vamp. Need to find Bristle and get foot to get jug.

I still cannot find the little bu@@er - I've tried wandering round the entire area, killed Bristle and waited for 15 minutes, searched night and day ....
... all to no avail.
Its a bit embarassing as I'm now lvl 36 - but so far its Wug 5, Me 0.
He's going to get SUCH a shoeing when I do finally find him.
Any other help greatly appreciated!

I found him tonight. If you leave the city west by southwest you see a ring of stones on the hill side. South of that on the hill is where I found him. I also found Brissle there at the same time! Killed Wug by accident and he respawned again about 2 mins later. Hailed him and he sent me to look for the lucky foot. Got the foot on 3rd Badger. Went back to where I found him and saw Brissle. As I was killing Brissle, Wug walked passed me about 20 (feet) away. Gave Wug the foot and he attacked. Brissle and Wug may be connected but I don't think Brissle is place holder for him. My 2 cents. :)

I found Wug at 19.2k, 54.1k at time 14h 26m
We wanted a badger foot. I ran over to the trees to the west that has a lot of badgers underneath, on the second kill, it dropped the foot. I did not have to kill Bristle. I found Wug again immediatley, and gave him the foot. Then I killed him and got the jug

I had some problems getting Wug to give me the jug after I gave him the foot as a valewalker. Just /whisper sitting on and he'll give ya the jug. (I then took great pleasure in killing him for all the trouble I had finding the little....)

I'm lvl 43 and I'm trying to go my epic and i have to go this one first. My journal says to kill the badger yadda yadda. I'm killing EVERY BADGER!! and the CSR said that it's random. how long to i have to do this crap? what am i doing wrong?

My experience doing this quest was different then most people, I had to talk to Wug then get his lucky foot from a badger. Which took 2 kills to get the foot. When I gave wug his foot he said he sold the jug to Dicia (sp) who is in Tir na mBeo hes the enchanter. After talking to Dicia he gave me powder and said to take it to Viola in Caille. I spent about 30mins trying to find Caille because the directions you get in your journal are not even close to being accurate. The best way i can tell you to get to Caille is head east from Parthanan Farm. once in the Valley of Bri leith the loc of Caille is approx 35k 35k. After handing in the powder to Viola I was given a CAP of WINTER SOLITUDE

same extension of quest happened to me after having been killed by wug who conned yellow to me. quest log directed me to Dicia in the main house of tmb.

The reward item for Blademasters have changed for this quest. You now get Gloves of the Sure-Grip, AF 22 Reinforced armor, con:100,Qua:100,Bon:5% STR +4,Dex +4, Effective AF 27 @ level 12 BM

when i got the dust stuff i was lvl10 nd didnt know where to go and wasnt in a guild and no one would help me .... so i dropeed the dust and i now that im lvl32 i know where connla is and i cant get the dust t\from that enchanter dude.. i need help

After taking upon this quest from myBlademaster trainer, I met Wug, received the jug and took it back to the trainer who then informed me that I need to take it to Anrai??? I've been all over Hibernia this started at lvl 11 or 12 and now I'm lvl 32??? Where is this Anrai? Does anyone have any idea??

My suggestion, click her name in white above...goes to the bestiary and it shows her exact location via a DAAtlas map!

Anrai is in Tir na mBeo in this small round stone-hut near the road.

I haven't done this quest yet, but why don't you try to target a Guardian or Sentinel and type /where anrai.
If he/she is in Tir Na Nog, you get the direction from the Guard.

While doing this quest I had to kill the badger who ate Wug's lucky rabbit foot only to find Wug traded the pot to the Enchanter in TNB who sent me on a quest to a far off town NE of the lake... where I had to deliver a pouch of dust. I got a 12th level charm and about 30,000 exp. pts.

I have mistakenly killed Wug before receiving the quest. Has anyone else done this? I assume it has ruined my chance for the quest, but maybe someone else has made this mistake.

The Id10ts FLW were: nobody makes a quest at this time, before he became the first inhabitant of my /ignore list.

i killed one unnamed badger. there it appeared.

I completed the quest as a lvl 12 blademaster. I had to kill several badgers before the lucky foot came up. Wug traded me the jug for the foot np. Then my reward was Gloves of Sure Grip 20 AF, +3 str & dex.

I recieved the Quest, found Wug, but he refuses to talk. Says he's hostile, but he doesn't agro me. Got it as lvl 11 Blademaster. Any ideas if he'll talk or since I'm in bad standing with his race, will he not talk? If so, what is that races enemy... assuming badgers?

When I finished this quest in Cellia, my level 15 BM got a "Blademaster Charm" with magical properties of +6 hp, and +2 (or +3...cant remember) quickness. Much rather have this charm than coin.
