Boidoc who is in second building on the right after you enter the gate. He tells you to seek out Lalida the Skald trainer, who is in the building directly across. You are given a necklace that has no bonuses, but you need to keep it and Lalida sends you to Vasudheim to see Kyba, a troll standing outside a building that is the third building on the left from the bridge (building #5 on DAAtlas). When you tell Kyba that [Lalida is well], she sends you to talk to an old skald that wanders between the vale of Mularn and Muspelheim. Go past Haggerfell, and start through the pass into Muspelheim, you will see a troll named Gokstad, approach and speak to Gokstad, he asks if you have anything for him. Give him the necklace. Gokstad then instructs you to seek out Denise in Mularn who is in first building as you enter Mularn, stable master outside. When you speak to Denise she will give you a Fine Norse Cloak. Reward: |

I got a level 14 hunter and can't get this quest from Fort Alta . Going to try for Kyba now and see if that works.

Yes i have tried the hunter trainer and all he wants to do is give me arrows.

This quest is shadowblade only, the hunter thing is a typo i think, seeing as the reward is only for shadowblades

It's a pretty straighforward quest. Took about 10-15 mins, on horseback. Start in Ft Atla go to Vasudheim and then up to the enterance to Muspelheim pass. Turn off the road where it takes a hard left and go hard right into the valley. He's up over the 2nd small hill. Ran back to Mularn for cloak.. It was stealth +1 Dex +4 Qui +3.

I am a 12 Hunter and can't get any quest conversation out of Kyba. Anyone know why? Has the quest changed? Do I need to do something else before she will talk to me about Gokstad? Please help.

Folks, it's completely different for hunters. Just talk to Kyba, then you have to kill Gokstad, then seek a werewolf named Haglion near Gna Faste. Still haven't found ole Hag...

im lvl 11 hunter and it said up there that hunter and shadow blade can get the quest but you say its only shadow blade.

I did this quest today and got the cloak. I'm a level 12 Hunter, so I think it is not necessarily SB only.

I'm a lvl 14 shadowblade and I haven't been able to get the quest yet. Tried the trainers in Jordheim and Fort Atla. Anyone know why?

I didnt get it till I was level 15, and not because they randomly assigned it, but because of my other incomplete quests. Check your journal and see how many quests you have going on. I had three incomplete and I couldnt get the quest, I finished one, and then got the quest. Also check to see what steps you are in, not that that makes any definite difference but it might. I had one quest on the first step, one on the second and one on the third. I finally got the thing after I killed Svartmoln in Vasu, finishing the third step of a quest. See if this helps and let us all know.

I finished the Svartmoln quest and was then able to get this quest. Think the reason is that Kyba is a part of both quests.

Kyba is actually located in Vasudheim not Audliten like the quest msg above says, she is located in the 2nd building from the Smithy ( face the smithy it will be 2nd on the right)

I was unable to get this quest at level 11. When I clicked on the trainer I got an empty dialog box that popped up. At level 12 I was able to get the quest. So if you are not getting it at 11 just try again at 12.

You get this quest @ Level 11. You speak to the ShadowBlade Trainer In Ft. Atla.

I sent this in, it is indeed SB only, and will be given to you in Jordheim when you reach lvl 11

I can't do the quest, I am a Shadowblade and I hail my guild trainer and he didn't have any quest that I could do. Then I target him and typed help and he said come back when you are a higher level so I am guessing you need to be about level 9-12 to do this quest 8D Ialdail Wiseoak 52 ranger (Inny server) Agrallan level 6 shadowblade.

check out the Camtest logs, this is listed as the lvl 11 shadowblade quest.

I did this quest today at level 11 and got the cloak, +3 Dexterity, +2 Quickness, +1 Stealth.
One correction, Kyba is in Vasudheim, not Audliten.

I tried this quest at Lvl 8 and the Sadowblade Trainer would not give it to me. Anyone know what lvl you have to be to do this quest?
