If you are doing this quest to get the Glare trophy, you MUST be level 24 or lower.
Grass Sheeries are at 22000 31000. Just go east from Lysagh.

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different 1) Talk to Gemma in the merchant area near warehouse 2 and she tells you she's worried about her brother Lysagh and could you go check on him and deliver an armor shipment to him in Caile. Lysagh's been being attacked by Fury sprites and needs help. 2) I ran there, but I think you can get a ticket to Druim Cain and Caile is the little town before you get there. 3) Talking to Lysagh, he sends you to kill a grass sheerrie for a green crystal. You will find these back the way you came. Go past the lone guard tower into the area where the road disappears. loc=8668, 42432 They con blue to a lvl 17 4) Give the crystal to Lysagh, he tells that every time he gets a crystal in payment the fury sprites show up and mug him for it, thinking he's grass sheerie who the sprites are at war with. Shortly after you give him the crystal 2 Fury sprites show up and start attacking you. Glare was yellow to me at 17th and the other blue. I was able to kill them both just barely. 5) Lysagh goes and hides in the stone building not far away (he's no help during the fighting) 6) After you give Lysagh the corpse of Glare, you must tell him you can take a letter to his sister Gemma in Tir na Nog. lvl 17 received 307,000 exp Reward: |

At level 16, Glare is orange and his companion is yellow. You get only a couple of seconds after the hand in before both attack. Not surprisingly I died although I got Glare down to about 20% and his companion was unharmed.
I've done every quest possible up to lvl 16 and this is by far the most difficult quest. I've shelved it until I get a couple more levels.
It's a shame the reward doesn't reflect the quest difficulty for the level. Many of the earlier quests were far to easy for a decent item. This is far to hard for an average item at best.

Received "Glare's body(?)" and turned that in for the Quest. I also received A letter to Gemma and had to go back to TNN to complete the quest. Thirdly I received "Glare's Remains" and have no clue what to do with them. Any idea's?

Actually pretty cool..if you go to the marketplace in the housing area, you can talk to the taxidermist, who will give you a "quest." If you hand over the remains, npc will tell you it needs a potion to prepare the remains, seek out the potion hand it to the NPC and you will receive a trophy that can be displayed in your house or guildhouse! Thought that was awesome...

I am currently trying to do this quest at lvl 16 (enchanter) and Glare seems to be really angry at me. Even though I don't blast him or anything and I send my big fisted fully buffed mega super hero pet to bash his angry face, he is still after me and well ...kills me very fast. So unless you have friendly company or you re twinked like a god, don't give the green cristal to Lysagh until you reach at least lvl 18. Now I am not saying there isn't a way to kill him at lvl 16, but I haven't found it. I would appreciate tips from more experienced players. Cheerio.

glare and his gang seems always spawn from the N or NW direction. caster may want to face that direct and ready your blast. i've died 3 times and noticed the similarity.

I am a level 16 eldritch, and I managed to complete the quest alone, although glare and his buddy were both yellow! That's one of the great benefits of an eldritch... =) I blasted him with a void bolt and a snare, then ran off... later came back and did the same thing again. Glare does regenerate, but at a very slow pace... so I managed to kill him at the 5th attempt. If you get a critical shot, then it's even better =)
The grass sheerie is near the guard tower West of Caille. Search around that area for it.
Oh yes, although the quest journal says that you have to kill glare and his buddy, you only need to kill glare. I killed him and my quest journal got updated to the next step.

Finally completed this quest as a Lv18 Blademaster, after dying many times before. Glare was still con yellow, but his Fury sprite buddy was green. After this I had to return a letter to Gemma in Tir Na Nog. The reward was quite nice with good xp. All in all, a very nice quest indeed :)

I found them. Theres a curmudgeon camp with poachers and such. They r right in that valley way behind the parth farm. Its a long strip of land with trees on either side. U may have to wander about to get one to spawn, but thats where they are. Good luck!! :)

I usually find a grass sheerie near the guard tower at the top of the hill. If you follow the path youll come straight to the guard tower. Just past the guard tower in the small open field there are primroses, barcas, and usually a grass sheerie as well. If there isnt on, wait a bit and one will spawn.

To get Glare and his buddy to return just go into the house where Lysagh is hiding, he'll give you the crystal and tell you to come outside and pass it back to him, then Glare returns.
Just spent 40mins trying to seperate glare and his buddy but no luck. Against my Lv17 Blademaster, Glare conned yellow and his friend conned blue. Managed to kill his buddy, but Glare killed me with ease, while I just missed constantly. I'll return to try again when I hit Lv18.

Well, Glare and his buddy got me (quick dirtnap), and my journal still says to kill him. How do I get him to spawn again? I killed a couple more grass sherries, but no more green crystals. :( Do I just hang out and wait for another person doing this quest and we both get Glare or can I just search Glare out?

Well, as a eldritch, I ran into a problem here. Got the task at 17, and Glare was Yellow, the other was blue. I never saw them from a range, so I couldn't get much in the way of spells off.
Long story short, I took a dirt nap rather quickly. Now neither Lysagh or glare are around. Very interesting to see if I can pick this back up somehow.

Lysagh is hidden in the house, go back to him and he will hand out the green crystal back to you. Continue at 4)

You need to /appeal the quest. They'll reset it. You have to start from the beginning, but that part is easy enough.

I had probelms finding the grass sheeries. i looked everywhere for them.
Finally found some North and East of the Parth Farm that is west of Caille. They spawn (not many) near the woods where the siabra furies are on the edge of the woods there.
Also, the little green crystal just pops into your pack when you kill one. I killed three and thought i couldnt solve quest becuase they never dropped any loot. Then i looked in my pack and there it was.
The fury sprites were no problem at level 21 and I got the ring.

This Quest Is a great little one to do.
Talk to gemma then catch a horse to the frontier and just jump off it when you arrive at some shops along the way (on the road)
yap to the dood for a bit.. then just run up the hill to the west and you'll find a nice easy to kill greenie (i was level 17) then run down kill a blue.. and then hand in the corpse and you got a nice little ring. Deliver the letter for extra cash and stuff. sweet.

Did this quest at 16, although without help from another, I probably would have gotten beaten up, as both sprites were yellow. Anyhow, in its entirety, this quest gave me 2 full bubbles of exp, plus cash and the ring =)
