At buff spec. lvl 11 (Cleric) I received the Acuity of the Seer buff

I cant see any stat. enh. when I use it on myself. Does anybody know the function of this buff?

The seers buff works only for pure mage (cloth) classes with it´s increase INT for the described amount ( shift + i). Additionell it increases die ability to spot stealth chars and monters by the same value for all character classes.
By the way after testing with different long range chars it seems to be the maximum range of spells an bow weapons ist little bit increased up to 5 yard ...

That is only for cloth/robe casters and they get the first one at level 30 I believe.

I see they have new buffs on the test server. Thats great if you are solo but the fact that we are restricted to 16 total buffs makes adding new ones and frankly specializing in enhance above 11 completely pointless. The abilities you would lose from the other specs by going enhance can never be made up for with the pitiful handfull of buffs we are given. Sure having full enhance type buffs would be great if you could put more than 2 on each party member or more than full buff 2 of your tanks. When you stack it up to the power of the Smite and Rejuv lines, 16 buffs from enhance is an assinine waste of points.

OOOOOOOOO now we get 20. I am sorry but the magic number is....... 32. Even 32 of the smaller ones would be fine. In fact why is it that they put the lower buffs in if we cant cast any more of them than the big ones? I guess every 8 man group just needs 3 priests and one guy goes with half buffs. No thats silly. I guess we just resign to the fact that enhance will not be worth spec points that are infinitely more effective elsewhere.

Click your spell group icon on the control bar and you will see a conc button at the bottom. Click it and it will give you a bar graph of how much conc you have left in addition to who has what buffs. i use this frequently with my buffing classes in groups to redistribute buffs when new members join.

Do the skill based spells mean you just have to get to that level to get the spell (like reach level 50 to get Holy Might spell) or do u have to put 50 points into it? Any help would much be appreciated. Thanks

Well, here is what am very sure of. The level based spell is spells you get when you reach a certain level. The (quote) spec. level spells(unquote) will then be spells that you get when you put enough spec points in (in this example) enchant.

Hi Clerics and Fiars,
i'm a cleric and have the following problem:
From Level 5 to 7 i have got the following three spells from Enhancement (base-line): Greater Aura of Shielding, Blessed Potency, Blessing of Health. The Spells have to give in this line the following adds: 15 AF, 19 STR, 17 CON. i have got this values from the spell-information sheet (shift-i) in the game and also from here. But if i cast these spells they only give 12 AF, 14 STR, 12 CON, like the buff spells one Level deeper in Enhancement :-( So what is going wrong with my Cleric? I think it's a game bug, because i've got the right names and the right values in the info of these spells, but the wrong effects. Please, help me.
Secondary question, is it normal, that i get all spells from all specs in one list? With other casters i've got in example one for fire one for ice, etc. I makes it much easier to have an overview to these spells. Do you also get the spells in one list?

Its not a bug, the spells only give the bonus listed on the spell sheet (shift + i) if you have trained enhancement up to your lvl, so if you are lvl 7 AND enhancements at 7, you will receive the bonus listed

you couldnt get more than you lvl with basic line buffs. and what you got with each one is based on how much poins you have, but wit around 80% lvl you got more than the value listed in it

Ok, I have a question for ya. Do the Enhancement and Enhancement Specialization buffs a cleric gets stack? I want to max out Rejuvenation Specialization and use all other skill points in Enhancement Specialization. If they dont then there is no point due to the basic buffs given at lvl's will over take Enhancement Specialization buffs. Please if ya know pass the info on to me.

all of the cleric's buffs stack with each other but they don't all stack with other classes buffs. For example, our lvl based AF buff won't stack with caster's self AF buff. The spec AF buff won't stack with the Pally AF chant. The regen buff won't stack with the bard heal song.

BTW i know this game is still in it's infancy, which means hopefully the mana over time consumption of the haste spells will be removed, and instead they'll just have a set time limit. This would make enhancement the equal of staff in a friars list.

Aye, your power gets eaten up at a prodigious rate, but as soon as you have regained full endurance, you can cancel the haste spell as with any other concentration type spell (even though it's really NOT a conc. spell) by doing "Shift+Right-click"

This has worked for me very well for managing my power and endurance and staying in melee trim with little down time.

I went all enhance on one of my friars at level 5, figuring it'd be cool to play a really 'holy' friar who used buffs to make up for only 1 in staff skill.

WRONG MOVE. Even with 70 piety, the 17% haste buff lasts less then 1/3 a fight with a blue, and due to the decreased average damage of a lower staff skill, it['s hard for me to compensate.

Thankfully i had a group of good friends of my theurgist who all zoned in to group with me and i'm almost to 6 where i can buy up some staff.

Just a warning to friars. Enhance IS useful... BUT as an enhancement to you and staff, not as a primary skill. At least not from the start.
Friar specialization worth it?

In the Friar set of enhancement there is one spell line starting with Saint's Vigor that is a stamina regen spell which costs continuous power to keep it going... at level 12 it appears that this spell is actually a downgrade, costing more mana for less effect.

My question is: Is there any Friar out there who has spec'd past level 11 and decided it was worth it?

I heard from another Friar that if you don't spec past 11, you can use this Saint's Vigor to style with your weapons all day and night with no rest (since power regen eventually equals the cost of Vigor)

I can not yet help with your question, as I just hit level 10 with my own Friar, but I do have a question about the Saint's Vigor chant. Can you turn it off? Of does it have to run it's course? I can turn off other spells, and buffs, (shift right click them I believe) but not that chant.

Look at the chart man. It's listed under BOTH spec and level based...

Only their are NO other level based/class only enhancement...

It's an obvious typo.

It is a specilazation level not character level based spell only, which was just accidently placed under both.

As for your problems with spells in general amen to that. I think the game is fun, and after EQ the graphics are gorgeous, but spells and the awkward interface are real drags because both could have used more refinement.

I think Mythic will pull it together though.
