I am confused about this line of spells. Am I going to see a text saying how much is reflected because it doesn't look to me like it is doing anything. Same is true of the other damage shields. Thanks
How much damage?

Ok I read on another site this was how this silly "shield" is calculated.

"description: friend's damage shield/sec. buffed 0.7" This is greek to me ...lol

Take an attacker with a sword that has a 12.1 dps on it right? They swing...you duck..they hit you.

12.1dps x 0.7 = 8.47 So if what I read was correct then your shield "reflects" back all of 8 (maybe 9 if the code is nice to you) damage to that attacker.

Can anyone confirm this..or is this something someone fabricated to sound cool? I does make a little sense really. A faster hitting class like a ranger or shadowblade use lighter and lower dps weapons. Thus you get hit more often...but for less. and of course the shield reflects less upon each swing...but more often.

Never the less ...IMO? This shield's about worthless truth be told. At high levels you reflect what? 20hp at most? and Take hits for 100+ LOL ok why waste the effort in casting shields that do so little for people. lol
Lay down melee buffs and spend that casting time conffering with scouts or planning your next attack....seems the front needs more adept leaders...ok well. Im off topic now...hehe
Was just curious if anyone knew the real deal on this would-be wasted of game code...My 2 cp :)

Little added math...

That same sword of 12.1 x the 44th level shield would reflect 55.66 damage. Not too bad I suppose. IF this is really true. (Still seems a waste of time though hehe)
Use carefully...

Use of this line of spells should be carefully considered if you are also likely to be using the Ice root spells.
If you are typically using the root spell to flee from a nearby enemy if they land a hit on you as you try to run, the damage they receive from
hitting the damage shield will break the root.
This caused a lot of deaths for me before I realised what was happening.
