This spell is indeed awesome, a level 50 wiz with this spell took out like 20 hibs going up to lord in an ambush and they just started dropping like flies. But I dont like how clerics get the best ranged AE that does like 600dmg or something. Thats sick.

means it's not a DOT spell.
DOT = damage over time like a Cabalist's Poisons.
They do 70 dmg every 6 secs whereas this will do base 300 dmg instantly (after it's cast).

the hibernian enchanter also has a 300dd area pb spell, only 2,5 feet radius but still a 300dd area pb. :)

It seems that Liquification is way better than Pyromancy in RvR. That sucks since I chose a fire wizard.

I doubt it, Anonymous... it takes reds 3 hits, sometimes 4, to kill me. By the time you have this spell, higher levels will con orange, maybe even yellow. Cast once, once they're on you, quickcast again for an uninterrupted blast. If they're not dead, they will be so low on HP you could get away and finish them off.
But the real use for this spell is the whole AE aspect. Specifically, if there are enemies at the gate, fall down on them, cast once, then quickcast.... who cares if you die? You'll have taken out anyone who is more than 5-10 levels below you and SERIOUSLY damaged everyone else in the vicinity. I'd most assuredly take one for the team if I knew I could get 100-200 realm points in 2 casts.

If any melee is in range and has an eye on you, you'll die before you finish casting this.

I believe this is the strongest point blank AE. I wouldn't confuse this with a wizard's normal DD as this is mulitple targets without much (if any) range. I bet this has SERIOUS use in RvR, though.
