eve online trial requestFollow

#1 Aug 01 2012 at 3:57 PM Rating: Decent
I have trial requests for eve online, I do not want a 14 day trial so I am wondering if someone who is playing can listen to my requests concerning what I am trying to do. I tried going to other forums offering requests for free trials, and well, the users have not logged on in a long time making it really hard to do what I want to, which is get trial for me and my friend.

If you are a current subscriber may you please help me out, i'll send you a pm.

I have no clue what you're talking about. There is only the 14 day trial, which you can sign up for on their website. If you invite someone and they sign up, the one to issue the invitation gets a free month, but that's all.

Otherwise, there's PLEX, which is game time you can trade/sell in game, but it enters into the economy when someone purchases it for real money. No one is going to be using that for you, since it's essentially like throwing $15-30 at a stranger.

People throw $15-30 dollars at strangers all the time. Usually in singles.

The buddy invite is in fact 3 weeks. My account isn't active right now, otherwise I would help you out.

New player to the Buddy Trial contract game, looking for clients to build my reputation as a trustworthy 'dealer'.

Current Buddy Trials for October: 10/10
Send requests from the email you plan to use with your EVE account to: crazyrich428 @ yahoo.com

Summary:
-465M for activating (Current 80% value of PLEX in Dodoxie). Open to negotiation.
-5M of that given up front when Buddy Trial is started.
-No need for activation in a certain timeline to gain maximum amount. Explore EVE without pressure to activate.
-Additional 5M given for forum accolades.

No pressure to activate, as I am new to buddy trial contracts and am unlikely to max out my invites. However, if you sent requests to multiple people (including me) and get one before I respond I would appreciate a heads up, as I will still lose a Buddy Trial even if you had already accepted one.

This starting seed is not insignificant. I did the same when i began the game a month ago, gaining 400M. With this seed money I started a station trader alt (on the same account) and reinvested it. Checking on it when i log in and out (and sometimes between actions during a play session) I have it up to 1,100M after 3-4 weeks (PLEX costs about 585M in Dodoxie right now). Not the most efficient, but mostly passive income, and I would not mind sharing the easy methods it takes to get there.

It is important to note the following are accepted payments for Buddy Trial accounts:

*Eligible subscription activations can be funded by Credit/Debit cards, PayPal, WebMoney Transfer, paysafecard, ETC, PLEX and iDeal. Other payment methods are not eligible for this program. If you pay via PayPal, the payment transfer may be delayed up to 3 days pending CCP's validation of your method, and will be delivered within 24 hours of validation.

Note that confirmation on PayPal payments make take 3-5 business days, resulting in a corresponding delay in reward payment.

I will update as I receive forum accolades.
Necro Warning: This post occurred more than thirty days after the prior, and may be a necropost.

I have absolutely no idea what the hell you're talking about, but it sounds great.

PLEX prices seem a little high in Dodoxie, though. I paid barely 400 million for my last one a couple of months ago.

Go to the official forums to see a stickied post about this - CCP encourages it. It sounds like you play so I don't know what part is confusing to you but you can do a 14 day trial, or you can get an invite for a 21 day trial. The 21 day is a "Buddy Invite" and the person inviting you gets a reward for that - basically one month free play time - if you sign up for a paid subscription.

A paid subscriber (there is a requirement that you be one for a certain amount of time, but I'm not sure of the exact amount of time) gets 10 buddy invites every month that they can dole out. So, CCP has that sticky thread where people can post Buddy Invite offers (that look like LittleFingerBaelish's post) and potential offerees can ask questions about them. Everything else is OT and will be deleted.

Some people playing the game will start second, third, or more accounts in order to have an alt or alts. Since characters train skills simply by queing them, but those skills train in real time, and since you can only have one character training skills at a time, setting up another account is more efficient. But it costs money to play. Unless you get free time from a Buddy Invite.

So, you can set up multiple accounts, give away Buddy Invites, get the free time and you're good to go, so to speak. The game time can be collected in a form (Plex) that can be sold in-game.

But, now this has become rather competitive, apparently, since a lot of people are doing it. So, in order to get the new person to use your Buddy Invite you offer to pay them, in game currency, the price of the Plex. How does this benefit you? If you can make, in-game, the cash to pay the new person then you are essentially turning that in-game cash into game time.

What I'm missing is, the purpose of jumping through all these hoops instead of just taking your in-game cash and buying Plex on the Market. I guess the answer is in LittleFingerBaelish's post - you don't pay the full price of the Plex to the new person, you pay a % of it. If you pay 90% and all 10 of your invitees sign up, you wind up with a full month of play time. Since some don't wind up signing up I guess it's best to pay 80% and hope for half of them to sign up.

I think I have that all correct, I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
