As an Industrial Electrician, I never wear jewelry, rings, or watches. The less things hanging on or off of me the better.
A coworker of mine stopped wearing his wedding ring a few years back when he joined the Electrical department. We made fun of him, and told him his wife would make him get a tattoo instead. He did a ********** That" in reply.
Sure enough, a few months later he comes in with a ring tattooed on his ring finger.
Hopefully his marriage lasts and he doesn't have to worry about getting that wedding ring removed.

Eh, the tattoo will fade over time and it's always a part of your life that was up until a point a good part. And if you really want to get rid of it that's still possible.

I'm thinking I'm going to get a lifesize wood-tick tattoo - just not sure where the best spot would be to put it. Ticks always end up at the back of my neck right at my hairline, but I'd like the tattoo to actually be seen.
