A rather large group of really good folks (*cough* and admins *cough*) are going to coordinate which server they end up on during the release. We're shooting to also be on the same server in the open beta. Maybe we'll end up on the same one.

Meh, we haven't decided which one w'er going to. We were on Sephiroth for all beta phases just kinda stuck there. Tell me what server you're going to! :P I want my old Bismarck friends ;)

We've chosen to go to the Emperor server.
Is that where it seems most Bismarckians are going?
I am not sure where most of Bismarck is going. I've talked to some friends, a large community that was on Bismarck, and we've decided to go to Emperor. If Emperor isn't a server upon release we'll be quickly choosing another at Open Beta start.
I'm kinda rolling with whatever the XIV main forum is doing. Lots of good people over there, maybe we'll end up together
It appears to me that the server names are named after 1 city from previous FF games for a total of 15 in all. The servers are as follows:

Yeah still undecided on the server although the Company is shaping up nicely. We've got quite a few people from Bismarck already with us on Open Beta. Game is great. I'm really looking forward to the release :)
I wish you could play more missions and quests. It seems all I can do is Guildleve's.

i haven't even looked at the server list yet, and none of the people that i had planned on playing with have copies or in a couple cases, working computers, so i don't know what server i'll be on yet.

I want to, and I know it's different from the ***** up XIV they had before..but it's kind of marred in my mind.
The game was downright fun for the last few weeks, because enough people logged on and were all frantically trying to do the content that won't be available any more that there was an actual population again.
If they've fixed the underlying game engine problems but kept the spirit of the game that had developed in that last patch intact, then it's got a shot at being a good game finally.
In the meantime, SE is having a little too much fun ending the world.

That's good to hear! I'll probably pick up a copy when it comes out, but I always hate getting interested in games and having to wait for months before it's ready. The wait begins... :)
