Melody LS is doing a general recruitment for all interested people!
We are a endgame linkshell, located on Bismarck server.
We do multiple events, at scheduled times, but also do a considerable ammount of low man and social things too. So the pearl is good for events and for full timing!
Our scheduled events are as follows:
Monday - Off (Low man and social)
Tuesday - Off (low man stuff and social)
Wednesday - Limbus 6PM EST, Dyna 8PM EST, Abyssea 10PM EST
Thursday - Off (low man stuff)
Friday - Dyna 8PM EST, Abyssea 10 PM EST
Saturday - Off (low man stuff)
Sunday - Voidwatch 3PM EST, Limbus 6PM EST Dynamis 8PM EST Abyssea 10PM EST
As you can see, there is a lot of downtime if you want an event only shell. So you can still enjoy the game with your other social shells, or other events with others.
You need only go to the events you have an interest for - Melody does not by any means require you to go to one event to attend another. Each event has a respective rules and points system, to ensure fairness to those who only want to attended some of what we have to offer.
What constitutes low man time for us?
We build empyrean weapons, Including my Almace and future ochain, we are also on the verge of several other weapons, on multiple members. We will be doing poppable kings in low man time as well, Sea, Random Walk of Echos adventures... honestly anything if people have an interest in doing it. We love a good challenge!
Unlike many shells, we pride ourselves on the fact we are a family. We do not give sackholders and myself the leader any special privelages.
We were not the first shell with empyrean weapons or +2, but we are one of the best geared shells in my personal opinion, because i hate seeing people work hard without getting anything for thier own.
We attain a very strong bond with members. I highly reccomend this shell if you are looking for make long term friendships and commitments.
Our shell is open to all jobs, all gearsets, and all people.
We are primarily active in the EST time zone, however.
If people are willing to grow with us, and become part of our family, then gear makes no difference. Come with a smiling face :).

It doesn't seem fair to me that you're about to have an Almace and an Ochain when other members are just about to complete their first Empyrean weapons.

We built Almace and (almost)Ochain outside of linkshell time, so it's not like she's using the LS to gear herself up.

I call it like I see it. Your original post is makes several references about how fair you are and you are yet you're getting 2 while other people are getting 1.
I understand that you want to brag; however, if you want anybody to take Melody seriously than I suggest you don't make it so obvious. If the Almace was built outside of shell time then why even mention it in a recruitment thread when it has no relevance?

Almace was done on our own time, so is Ochain.
So is our kannagis, so is our ukons,
our masa and our dagger.
Everyone of my members has at least 1 full set of +2, and honestly, if they don't,
its because they spend points and get multiple pieces of mutliple jobs. Our points system works like a straight bid - i can't control what they have / don't have.

If these are all done on "our own time" sounds like your LS needs to do stuff on their own to progress at a decent rate.... Just like SeraphAzagthoth I'm calling it as I see it.

I recently just joined this linkshell about a month ago and I will say some things about it. What you people are saying is not true at all. I went from having no +2 gear to having almost full +2 rdm pretty quick. Also got other pieces that would be difficult to get on my own, and that is in linkshell time. When it is not event time, I have gotten a lot of help from fellow members to get Af3 acc pieces and help with my suraya's staff+2.
Also every week we are helping LS members build their emp weapons. If you have not been in the LS, you really have no room to talk about it.
This is def the best and most fun linkshell I ever been in. The members are skilled and very helpful. When I joined the shell right away I was treated very kindly and got some awesome equipment in the first week.

How come someone has something sh*tty to say to someone else like was that really necessary to reply? did you really have to blurt that out and type it just so you can say something to cause a uproar? then later have like 400posts of flames flying around? holy crap that's freaking tiresome. in any case i like the idea of family and i would like join you're linkshell do you also recruit new people regardless of level difference if they are active and looking for a Linkshell?

Melody is not a social linkshell - it is a family style endgame linkshell. It depends on how much of a level difference you're talking about - level 75 returning, or level 25 just starting out? The former might be accepted, the latter will do much better in a social non-endgame linkshell.
As for the drama in this thread, people are entitled to their opinions of endgame linkshells. I am no longer with Melody due to scheduling reasons (I got a job that requires me to get up at 7AM EST), but during my time there I was treated quite fairly and have no complaints.

That's fine but truly there is a astonishing amount of threads that end up just busting with angry people its not even funny anymore everyone is so angry its practically more back and forth anger irritation over each comment. some people cannot even post simple questions without being attacked or approved by other people seems very judgmental. Childish it truly is for example....
I have ran through some threads where the post is repetitive like why is "leveling so much easier then past grinding" everyone has seen it (Not up for discussion) in fact it was posted today someone replies with a negative comment instead of just not replying at all what is the point of that? I mean that is obviously not even opinion based its just stupid regardless of conversation someone says something to agitate other people.
As for the Linkshell thank your for replying and letting me know ill keep searching. =)
On ZAM, for some of us, it's all about the +1.
