I just started playing again after a long hiatus. My in-game name is Aristel, and I'm currently rocking the RDM, just hit 15 before work. Looking forward to getting some people to play with, it's seemed pretty empty thus far though.

I am new to this game but not new to the series but have had it since released just never had the time until now. Never played an mmo as well.I play nothing rpg for most part but anyways saw this site on the official website so signed up and here I am.If anyone don't care to help a new player out that would be awesome.Really looking forward to playing this and will be playing after Xmas since family is in and off work so if anyone don't mind to help or if I can join anyone please let me know.Thanks
I see you still seem to be recruiting as of the 7th and I am currently installing the game and hoping to find a good group to play with when I finally get setup and log in. In a sense I am returning to FFXI, but for all purposes I'm really a complete noob; I had a 75 Samurai/60 Paladin way, way, way back in the day and quit shortly after the Promathia expansion was released so I've never experienced any of that content, or anything that has come since then, and I understand the game has changed a lot in that time. The reason I came straight to the Cerberus boards is I believe I still have a character on the server (nothing special, maybe level 10 or so; I'm reactivating my old POL account and just bought one of the vana'diel collections off of steam in order to get the game and all of the new expansions). I would love to join you in game if you'r an active group and can stand to help a clueless soul start enjoying the game. I believe my character's name is Craine so I will look for you when I get everything installed. In the meanwhile, feel free to PM me on here as well.

Can add me if you want.I did the same as you and after getting everything reinstalled and the 10 hr patch I finally started this morning.I am a Red Mage and level 4 as I type this.would really like to find a group if possible so can have a better understanding so if anyone can let me join or tell me what I have to do to join or add you please let me know and I will check back.Really enjoying what I do have going on and have the collection as well on expansion packs.Will check back in couple hrs if anyone can respond and tell me what is needed for you to add me or me join you.Thanks

Are you guys still recruiting? i played 11 a few years back but cant remember my old playonline ID but i still want to get back into it. I heard that its pretty dead for new players these days or does your linkshell still have a lot of new recruits?
