Downtown Linkshell Recruiting!Follow

Downtown is looking for players to add to our linkshell that would be helpful for events and anything else we might do. Our LS is growing and consists of a solid group of about 10 to 14 people that are consistently on. We span the globe with players EU through the Pacific time zone. We do random events every day and also schedule certain events on Sundays. We are mostly looking for dedicated players that will be around to support the LS during events during the week and who also will be around for LS events on Sundays.

We are not only looking for veteran players, we will take you whether you are level 1 or level 99, we want to improve our own character as well as yours and it’s better to do this together, and are willing to put some time in for events and keep the adventurer spirit. We take care of our own in Downtown and will make a beast out of any who join us for the fun and excitement and adventure that we do!

We do everything from Aby NMs, empyrean weapon building, missions, quests, VNMs, VW, CoP, ZM, rank missions, exp parties, skill ups, or just generally teaching people more about the game. We have a solid group of veteran players that are dedicated to supporting the newer players (or returning new players) that we have in the shell. Anyone that is interested please do not hesitate to /tell Daesar or Niyah in game!

We’re a continuation of the Hades linkshell Freelancer; where we believe that you should help others when you can, because you can, not for what you can get out of it. This does not mean you should become a slave to others needs or anything. It just means that when the choice comes between lending a hand or being an asshat you choose the former and not the latter.

Just have to say that I signed up and have been really impressed. This LS is a good group to hang with and they're very helpful.

Man I wish I was there. Seem like the bosses like us because they scheduled four more jobs for us, be back later than I thought. Keep up the good work! Hopefully meet you new guys in late august or something :)

I'm a returning player (played from 2004-2008/2009) and looking for a new linkshell. I had to start a new character, so my highest job is War 16 with no subjob, lol. I'm looking for a good group of people to hang out with as well as help getting back into the game and getting caught up on all the new stuff from the last 4 years or so. :P My character name is Taion.

Seeing these old names, makes me want to come back. I played with Taion for 5 years......oh the deaths we had. lol
Best death was in Boyhada Tree, everyone came back and there we were, dead and laughing so hard.

I think SE charges 25$ to transfer, but I'm not 100% on that as the only server change I've had was because they shut down Hades.

Saw this thread up and figured I'd throw my interest in, too, though I'll keep this short. ^.^ I returned to the game a few days ago after a 3 year layoff, and started playing with the PS2 release way back in March of 2004. I'm hoping to get my original character restored, but for now I have a Hume on Cerberus named Rosuto, whose info should be down in my sig. I'm really just looking for some people to play the game and enjoy the content with, and have a good time. :D

We have one scheduled event on Sundays at 5pm Eastern. The rest of the time there is almost always something going on that members can join in on.

Hey, I am new to the game mostly. I played way back at launch and only made it to my 40's before school a life caught up to me, so I am a returning noob I guess. Either way I woke up a week and a half ago, turned to my fiancee and said "Do you want to play Final Fantasy XI with me?". We have been having a blast since, we have leveled two classes to thirty, and now would like to really get into the game. The only problem we have is how silent everyone is, so we were hope your still recruiting two people with plenty of questions. My name in game is Yuubou.

Id be interested in joining! Just come back after a 5 years abscence! Too much has changed since I've been away, very confusing! I have a bunch of jobs from level 10-37 but I'm currently working on the avatar mini-battles for my summoner! My ingame name is Vapid.
