Well here is my take on this thing. Yes it is one pain in the *** but Here is a setup that can work. If you have 2 rangers with utsusemi: Ichi to kill the Memorys, while a War/nin with Utsusemi: Ichi, and a Pld/war to kill all the stray's that are around Memory's. With 2 whm's or 1 white mage and a smn for curing. Ok I was with a pt 2 days ago and our setup was. RNG/NIN, RNG/NIN, NIN/WAR, PLD/WAR, WHM/BLM, WHM/BLM. Now when you actually go into fight the BCNM this part is IMPORTANT. make sure you have the animis with you "Helps kill the BCNM. OK time for the setup of this. Once you go in dont rush yourself. First off everyone needs to have their 2hr thats where we had the mistake. Ok here is the setup, First have the mages buff up and then rest. Also everyone take potions to get hp back. i used X-Potions. and chiefkabobs. To start the battle have one ranger on the right side and other on the leftside, have the nin/war or war/nin head behind the mob and pld infront. One mage stand on the right side inbetween the pld and the ranger on the right side and have the other healer send him to the back side inbetween nin/war, or pld/war. Now both are curing the pld the whole time. till its 1/2 dead or alittle bit above half have your ranger use the animis. wait till its about little under half and have one ranger use his sharp shot, weapon skill Piercing arrow, Barrage; shoot arrow, Eagle Eye shot; shoot arrow. Now you just created one hell of alot of hate. Make sure you have Utsusemi: Ichi on. Do not forget to use your x-potion. Once the first ranger uses the 2hr. Other ranger use their 2hr. Hate gets transfered to him. Now the mob is almost dead. have the whm use his 2hr the ungodly 2hr "quick note mages make sure you have stone skin and blink on before you do that and also take a scroll of reraise: stand in the middle of mob and cast make sure you make a macro or tell everyone to pull in to get your 2hr. Last thing move away from mob so if you do die you are away from mob and are able to cast your reraise and raise the rangers." Well now right after he does his 2hr have pld use his 2hr. and voke and have the nin to voke with all the hate that should shift back to the pld and save the whm before he dies. Now the mob will be dead in a couple more hits I used Icruse wings to give me full tp you can only use it once. if each ranger has one you can finish it off right their. If its not already dead. Congrats you just beat the BCNM. WHM one thing for you DO NOT GET SCARED AND USE YOUR 2hr to fast or all hell will break loose.. This comes from KnightsofValor.
