I normally hate posting and seeing posts about new LS's, however, I think that alot of you might be interested.... maybe.
I have started new LS somewhat recently and built a webpage for it even more recently. We currently have about 20 members so far and presently looking for more.
Our highest lvl's are a 63brd/whm and a 63mnk/thf.
We have a lvl 55 static set up which is looking for a rdm or a brd. The pt setup is 2x war/nin, whm (w/ lght/drk staff and erase, only 500k away from healing staff), blm (w/ drk/ice staff), and a thf/nin.
We are setting up for a HNM static to start within the next month.
Every saturday is our "money making" day. We gather t'gether and do different events which leave us each about 100k-400k richer each time.
Our website is EXTREMELY helpful. It allows you to track the status of your character by tracking stats and quests/missions completed. It has it's own mail system, java chat for regular admin meetings, forums, and an interactive events calendar.

Just to let you know, Cerne from your LS Refuge just MPK'd about 6 people in dunes...

MPK... stands for like... Monster Player Kill or something.
Basically, it means this person purposely provoked an aggressive monster... and got away, purposely leaving it near some people in an attempt to kill them. Tele's and such work for MPKing if the mob misses you enough. There's other ways to do this, but I forgot how. Basically, from the sounds of it, your linkmate purposely killed some people using an aggressive monster.

In that case. I have to give my fullest and complete apology for that incident. I do not believe in that in the least bit, even though I have felt like it... especially in the dunes.... evil noobs. However, we have ALL been there at one point in our life.
If anyone knows the names of the people that this happened to. Let me know and I will personally PL them the exp that was taken from them. I understand that the chances of anyone knowing their names is slim to none, however, if you anyone can tell me I will do my best to right the wrong.

MPK=massive player kill
All of your other information was correct.
Another way is to simply zone a high level mob on purpose. Anyone who tries to zone in or out will obviously be aggroed and killed.
But that's a bit off topic... Let's move this thread back to what it was originally intended to be.
