As I looked at the food list, I saw some ... GODly ones:

Black Curry+1 ( tank food, tons of effects )
Brain Stew (rdms: dex, mnd and int +5 )
Witch stew ( whms ... mind +7 o.O )
Crimson and Vermillion Jelly ( int+6, 10% more mp till it reaches 85, HMP+2 ..)

Wow...powerhouse food :
Ambrosia : All stats+7 , HHP+7, HMP+7, accuracy+7, evasion+7 , 3hours long... are you ******** me?

Altho I'm happy that we can use those ( dont know about Ambrosia tho ), its a little shame that only rich players will be able to use those often and it'll make the whole game a LOT easier, which is at some extend bad.. I saw Crimson Jelly at 5k the other day. I wonder what Ambrosia costs..

Well i think SE made the food change to put some weight in the cooking crafting...

Before, the only reason the level cooking pass skill 40 was to be able to make more HQ on lower food, nobody cared about the high skill level requirement food...

Zachiel say that a same that only rich player can have the best food, well now , at least, high level cooking have a reason to be leveled (lower cost on the food the player use AND be able to made money while crafting for other...

Sure the price we have in AH now IS really expensive... but with allt he new possibility of rentable cook receipe, more ppl will chose cook as their main craft (I dont know if you have pass by the cooking guild since the patch, let me tell you that the poor guild guild is REALLY busy these day). And thus, more ppl will be able to do high level craft and the price for all those "powerhouse food" as said Zachiel will lower (at least a little)

Ambrosia is food of the gods right? So that would explain the stats bonus, but I fear getting a cook to make it and the ingredients might be abit nasty.

Ouch just checked the items needed:
Oblation Abjuration
Cursed Soup

Oblation Abjuration is EX and only off BCNM60's, this could put a spanner in the works of those thinking that they could get the items and give them to a Cooker to make.
