I've got a full suit of chainmail I'm currently borrowing from a LS mate...
I joined a BST LS a while back and was running around farming with a level 40+ BST who's name I cannot remember and she let me borrow a suit of chainmail..
I forgot to /befriend but I figured, should be fine next time I see her.... and I haven't seen her online since.
problem is I've effectively moved on to EQ2, so I still have my FFXI account but I only log in to check and see if she's online so I can send her gear back to her, this has been going on for about a month or so.... I'd hate to just guess at the name, guess wrong, and give a free gift of chainmail that's not mine to give to someone I don't even know....
sooo the LS leader, (who has also disappeard) is my next option.. should I send him the armor and an email requesting he get it back to her or stick it out as long as finances will support two online games hoping to bump into her one of these days.. ('cause when I see the name it'll hit me.. but my memory SUX)
on the one hand sending to the LS leader seems like the right direction...
on the other hand.. is it really fair to dump the responsibility onto the LS leader out of the blue like that...
:-\
*sigh* so I'm feeling kinda stuck.. but oh well.. suffice to say the addage "neither a borrower nor a lender be..." is quite clear to me now..
