When you go to Ro' Meave have SNEAK up! Damn its a ***** going through there, have scouts look for the ??? that you need to find and watch out for the Dolls, they killed me for 1294 DMG... can we say "KO! Tanta is defeated by <t>" ......
When you guys beat the golems and finish it u need to find the ??? again, sometimes u get lucky and the ??? repawns where u are or u might have to find it again, then I would Teleport Altep and run back to bastok for 7-2.
Now 7-2 was tricky, I dont remember the format was for beating them, I recommend a BRD or BLM with Sleepga II to put the guys to sleep and everyone else takes em out one by one, Think of BCNM 40.... All in all it was a hard battle I did it twice and won twice. There are no lvl caps but It was still tough. I didnt even use my Earth Staff, I went sword and shield full way baby.

We were able to get rank 8 last night, and as u said 7-1 can be a pain in the ????. It is very easy to catch aggro and links in that place.
This large alliance things are always sooo chaotic. We had someone spawn the golems by mystake once, but to our fortune nothing bad happened. Just had to wait for despawn and look for a new ???
After we beat the golems came the hard part, cuz as we are looking for a new ???, someone aggroed something and they just kept going. Artaru (BRD) came through with the Lullaby and saved a couple of lives.
Luck strikes again, and someone suddenly found the point. /hurray
We all jet down to the spot and get our key item, after everyone got the item some bodies started dropping. Like 2 or 3 ppl died because of too much aggro.
We went back to bastok, and got our mission completed. Accepted new one and we went to the Palb mines.
We reach Waugroom Shrine (sp?) and ppl start arguing about who goes first. We finally aggreed on something but since we had no blm, the bard was gonna have to fight 3 times against the Quadavs.
our first fight was a complete success with the following ppl
Chevala (pld)
Dalziel (whm)
Artaru (brd)
Heifong (rdm)
Gargamel (drk)
Optimuz (drg)
After the fight, artaru points out that he can't repeat the mission until he has finished it, so a couple of ppl who were gonna repeat had to go back to bastok. After we got ranked up, artaru somehow got a d/c, so we decided to sit down and wait for him. We waited for at least 15 mins, and the everyone who still had to get their mission done was getting impatient. A couple of mins after, we see that Artaru has come back but he is no longer in bastok...he is in jeuno lfg!!!
It was time to improvise, so we decided to have 2 rdms on each battle. They took turns with the elemental seal + sleepga and sleep II on single mobs. This idea worked wonders and we were all able to get rank 8 for the rest of the alliance ^^
