Dragoon Af 3 NMFollow

Well it seems posting here asking for help has about the same effect as shouting in Jeuno....

None.

Unfortunatly unlike some people I'm not blessed with a long friend list, or a ls able to help. So that leaves my fate in the hads of you my fellow adventurers of Lakshmi.

Now honestly I don't expect the whole server just to drop everything anytime one person needs help, but at the same time there are times we all need to ask for help. So why not help others?

Rate me up, rate me down, do whatever. I've made a plea for help and like many other such pleas I've seen posted here, been largely ignored.

First you have to understand that most of the AF NM's that require NM's are usually almost always very difficult to form unless your in some huge LS.

Most people are not that lucky(raising my own hand.) Best thing to do is coordinate with people you are friends with that are able to help you, and when you can get the majority of them on at the same time on the same day, then you only need to fill slots, and with more people looking, thats a higher chance to get help.

Secondly, most people that have done these AF's before know that one stupid person could potentially kill the entire alliance. Especially with the areas you get sent to. At 66, where my AF hat is, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING aggros still. Im sure if you remember back to Genkai 2, you remember that it is almost 100% impossible to sneak/invis an alliance.

I see where your comming from Scuzzlebuns, but there is one slight flaw to your argument. You assume like most people I acctually have people on my friends list outside my ls to call on.

That isn't the case.

Unfortunatly I have never been a very outgoing person, even online, so my friends list is pretty much empty. Most of the people I started with have either quit, or out leveled me so fast they forgot I even existed. That leaves me with only my ls, all of who are at least 10-20 levels behind me and therefore unable to help.

And that leaves me at the mercy of you, the people of lakshmi, and in a position where a reward of 10k per person to help gets only one responce.

I will help as well, but without compensation. Send me a /tell this weekend.

I'd be happy to help if ever needed. Currently a level 55 BRD (almost 56, wewt!) Just gimme a /tell in game ^^

I got it done. It took a reward of 20k and in the end I died on the nm's a de-lvled but it's done.

-_- I offered to help the first day, but it wasnt happening, so i said we should wait till saturday when people are on...yet YOU decided to continue shouting. trust me, it only makes u more fustrated. it wouldnt kill you to not have your AF3, ive said this a million times to everyone. im ******* 67 THF and JUST got my AF3...so you have experienced noting. If you woulda did it on a saturday, you wouldnt have had to pay 20k per person. /em shakes his head in shame -_-

perhaps I am a bit impaticent. When i first unlocked and began lvling Drg a good number of ppl told me I was wasting my time, that I would never get invites', that I should pick another job cause Drg was worthless. And there were times between 45 and 60, when my lfg time hit 2 weeks with no invites, that I thought they might be right. That maybe I had made the wrong choice, no matter how much I love the job.

So getting my Af 3 was a personal thing for me. A way of proving to myself if no one else, that I was right, that I made the right choice following my heart and sticking with it.

Impaticent? Perhaps, but I would do it all again just for the thrill of knowing I did what others said I couldn't do.

I know exactly how you feel. I felt like it took forever to get all my AF, but when I got it I had a sense of acomplishment. Ahh.. "Paragon of Dragoon Excellence" is a nice title for me. I glad I got the annoying AF quest over. If you can get a job to 60, it's not that bad. ***** what someone else says. I paid for the game and to play it online, so I'll do as I please. True, it's tactics but it's mainly about choice. All jobs are good and have weakness in their respective ways. I hated waiting but I got it done. At least you didn't have to shout for the Ifrit's Cauldron coffer key party since I let you join. That would've mad you more annoyed. I know it's hard to get help, but I eventually did & it wasn't that bad.
