Any THF on Lakshmi have this dagger that cares to chat? Harpe or Hoplites harpe? Highest damage on any lvl dagger besides relic dagger. Please tell me the damage difference T-T or tell me what daggers you are currently using and why...I've been switching my THF gear like crazy, trying to tweak Sa,Ta, and overall damage. I'm so confused at this lvl [Help me out!]
orz... I'm too poor to buy any Harpe.
And besides, the Harpes are still piercing damage.
Anyways, there's noticable DMG from soloing DE if you use any Harpe. But I'm a semi-retired THF/NIN for EXP parties so I wouldn't know exactly what the difference is like.
As for daggers I use with THF/NIN, it's Gully+Hornet Needle.
For non-THF/NIN, it's Gully+Viking Shield.
And besides, the Harpes are still piercing damage.

^-^ TY good choice, i dont want the needle tho, i want more damage, but , gully is best, 25 dmg and dex too, im loving it, but thats a few lvls away need stuff for now, lvl 67. but i got harpe, when i get lvl 68 im gonna try it...the less expensive one lol, i will never pay 4 mil for a dagger unless i start buying gil :P not happening. thanx for ur advice and i will be using gully , another Excellent THF is Mexel, and hes told me harpe works wonders, he just got it ^-^
Anyways, if you want more SA+TA+Shark Bite DMG over time then go THF/WAR and use attack food like Yellow Curry.
If you're forced to EXP on Golens and Weapons in {Moon} or {Sky}, use THF/DRK (I've used it twice and it's fun and useful for Arcana Killer).
P.S. SA+TA+Last Resort+Souleater+Dancing Edge in Ballista lvl 60 cap can one-shot almost every melee class except PLD.
I should've took a screencap but two days ago, I took out a
DRK/THF (San.) while they were fighting a SAM/NIN (Win.) with:
Soul Eater->SA+TA+Hide and Dancing Edge (Triple Attack kicked in 2x) in front of the SAM/THF for 1336 DMG that smoked away the DRK/THF.
The gear I had was pretty much attack but I had a Viking Shield equipped and I used food too.
Instant yellow HP -> {Yes, please}
