Hello all, I realized that I have not been posting too much on the alla forums, especially considering how often I visit. While looking back to the other day, I just found something that made me smile, despite how inconsequentially some may view it...

I had just left a party in the Kazham jungles, and decided to head to the AH to grab some more arrows for my ranger. Being in college and having a crazy amount of work to do at times, I was distracted while playing, and laid down on my bed to talk to friends and concentrate. Not realizing how apparently tired I was, I fell asleep on the spot, leaving my game running and friends wondering where I had gone.

In any event, enter Tenmiles, quite possibly the most generous and considerate monk I've seen on these forums. I constantly see him offering to help everyone else, including my friend Warthog, with quests and AF pieces and the like. Well, apparently while I was asleep, 'ol Tenmiles decided to peruse my wares in the bazaar and purchase all my remaining brass flowerpots I had made during my goldsmithing venture the night before.

After I had awoken, I checked all my chatlogs to see if anyone had messaged me, and saw a few /tells from Ten, basically telling me that these were exactly what he needed. He kindly thanked me, and even /bowed in my direction. Now, while many of you may think I wasted a post on something unworthy of being noted, I personally was glad to see such manners and genuine thanks, even for something as simple as supplying him fairly cheap flowerpots. So, Tenmiles, if you read this, I would simply like to say keep upholding the monk honor, and being an all around nice guy here and in game. I was once a monk, like you are now, and if I ever go back to him, I only hope to be half the monk you are.

That is my somewhat random post... long live monks, and Lakshmi forever! =)

FREY!! I thought the monk was coming back! You're just not the same as a taru. :(

You do have a habit of going to sleep while playing, you know. It's going to get you into trouble some day.

Well, you see, not terribly long ago, I remade my taru mule, because... well... {/sigh} I wanted a new hairstyle
{/shame}

Anyway, up until the other night, she only had 5 brass pots neatly lined up along one side of her mog house rug.

You had those 5 beautiful brass pots for sale, and I knew they would be just the balance I needed to have lined neatly up along the other side of the rug.

Besides, she really likes gardening, and was feeling dissapointed that she wasn't growing ten plants at a time.

Also, your prices were cuthroat. I can't see how you could have possibly made a gil of profit off those pots.
If I recall, I paid that price or possibly more just for earthenware pots from an NPC in Windurst.

Anyway, thank you again for having just what I needed, even though I didn't even realize I needed them until I saw them there ^^

    Just admit it: you are using cheap Tarutaru labor. (ok I do too) If I get elected I will higher lower people's wages! 2 moogles per mule!

    Seriously Ten is a good guy

    Cheap Taru labor?

    She typically has anywhere from 20-70k on her at any one time, and nothing to spend it on.

    I have provided her with the best equipment money can buy for a "just-starting-out" WHM, and she has a higher fishing skill than I do ^^
