Some IdeasFollow

Well, I've had these ideas for a while, dunno if someone already posted them, but here they are:

Spice up casinos: Yeah yeah, roll dice, beat 650 win, okay, we got it. Why not try these games out?
1)Slots-Most times you roll (unless you suck like me) you end up with triple digits. So why not have a slots-type game? You could offer amounts of gil for ascending/decending numbers (123, 876, all evens/odds (284, 953) pairs (877, 335) triples (555) or a jackpot for 777!
2)Chain-dice-For every roll the patron makes, they have the option to raise their prize or stick with what they've won. If they opt to raise the prize, they must make a roll: If they beat their previous roll, then the game continues and the pot they can win goes up. If they don't, then they lose it all. Or, the casino and the patron could roll opposing dice, and the pot goes up for each time they try and beat you, but if they fail, they don't win a thing.

Anti-Gilseller LS: Someone posted here having the idea of having a group to outnumber the gilsellers camping spot and throw them off. Why not now? Someone with enough leadership qualities could organize a LS in which every week or so, the members gather together and outnumber the gilsellers 2 to 1 or more. After all, its hard to MPK your competition when they outnumber you so much, and its certainly harder to claim the NM with so much competition. And, its certainly more fun camping a NM with your friends than alone. Sure, the reward per person wouldn't be small, but such a noble act would be a reward in itself.

I guess some of these ideas are silly or idealistic, but I think they're not so bad, and maybe someone will like them as much as I did. I think they merit being posted here than shackled in the confines of my brain.

The only thing about your casino ideas is that, I believe, they would tend to remove the advantage which tends to be enjoyed by the person running the casino.

The odds, in a cleverly-run casino, are always in the casino's favor. It is a moneymaker for the person doing it.

Your suggestions introduce more chance into the system, making it certainly sound like more fun, to me, but not to those casino-operators who would risk losing more money this way.

    I hope you didn't take my post as dismissive of your ideas.
    That wasn't my intent in any way ^^

    I only meant that I, personally, assume that most people running casinos are doing so to specifically to try to make a profit, and they know that the usual rules used stack the odds heavily in their favor, and so may not likely be willing to change the way they do things just to make the game more interesting.

    Then again, I don't care much for the people who I see usually operating casinos anyway. They've always struck me as predators who look to swindle folks of their gil; but that is certainly not true of everyone who does it, I may be a little biased =/

    The ideas I see you offering bring, in my opinion, a sense of fun back into the casino game, and make the whole affair seem less like a swindle, which I am wholly in favor of.

    I'm also in support of the idea of getting groups of honest players to out-camp gilsellers for items that people need, but are smart enough not to pay 1.3 million for, etc.

    I know you're shy, but please dont hide =^_^=

    Aww, you're sweet, I'm surprised you remembered that! ^^

    And you're right, I'm sure entertainment and fun for their patrons is the last thing on their mind when casino folks are open for business, but a girl can dream, eh? ^^;
