They're not all gone.. =/

Did a few /sea's Kofs, Zoos, Roses. Still there =/ Ordelles looks even more packed than ever with the same names as usual.

Not saying they havn't done anything, but they havn't solved -everything- =/

800 ppl is a drop in the bucket, so they kick 25 ppl per server. I don't see any real improvement with this but if Richtor is gone its a good start.

Sorry but im confused, whats going on? whats KOFs, Roses and all this stuff, ... does it have to do with the banning of CGF's???
#9 Feb 15 2005 at 11:17 AM Rating: Decent
Not all CGFs will disappear in one night. Remember: they banned 800 accounts in all servers. 800 is pretty small since there are 30+ servers. Give it a week or two and see how many more well-known MPKers and CGFs are still around.

I recommend we get some action while SE is focused on this issue. We should start camping the "highest camped" NM's for the next week or so and see if we get the campers to try and mpk.

I think I will put on some level 40 gear, set to anon, and go camp Kuftal. Maybe some of the campers will take advantage of a poor lower lvl camper :-(. I would then have to call a GM.

I called a GM today cause SE said it took action on parties monopolizing NM spawns. Well the Kofs as well all know mononpolize Mee Deggi and Gallant.

So I told the GM it was great they banned 800 accounts, but yet the Kofs live. Well I explained they camped it 24/7 and all that and I was told everything I said was a assumption. Ah well, just thought I would pass that on. Dont look for the Kofs to get banned anytime soon, unless you can get them to tell you that they actually sell gil.

Well, the whole Gilseller situation may be taken care of in a seperate sweep. This proves that they will take action. We just have to wait ^^

Assumption... that's the biggest pile of crap I've seen any GM spit out. Everyone knows that KOF's MPK, Kofboss has tried it on me. Everyone knows that they always camp the same NM's, day in and out. There's no assuming nothing, it's a fact. If the GM's can't see this that we might as well just quit now, cause the KOF's are probably t-bagging the GM's right now.

With ur misspellin' too, I guess.

Anyway its good to see somethin' done about the bots, i hate doin' mine runs and seein' the same guy at a spot everytime I turn the corner. But its true, its goin' to be awhile before the KoF's to leave us.

A lot of good points have been brought up, the most important however is to wait and see if things start to go down now. Kote is still 1.5 mil, which is absolutely insane if you ask me. Sniper's, Gi and other such items have almost doubled in price. But is it the campers? Maybe, but it is the buyers too, I don't see Vassago's as an NM drop, it is a 60 BCNM, something alot of gilsellers are not. That went from 250k to almost a mil in less then a month. Where do people get this millions to spend? Maybe they didn't buy, but they sold farmed items that were jacked up to buyers wanting to use the small investment they bought to craft. Blink Powder is 11k now, MORE then a 100% markup then what is was merely a month ago.

I would say that bottom line, there would be no sellers if there were no buyers. And you think that this will solve things? Maybe it will, but you have to understand, these sellers, this is their life now, they feed their families on the small precentage they make buy working for whatever company hired them. They will adapt, they won't use obvious names after this. They will rotate in camping and farming, they will blend in. You see this as a step forward, I see this as a warning shot to gilfarmers to breed more and more and things will get worse and worse. Stop buying, THAT will solve everything.

When people that camp these NM's non stop are removed, it will open the availiblity of the drops to more people. Therefor, prices will drop.

Say only 5 people are selling the peacock charm at the current price, but, its the SAME 5 people over and over and over and over again. They control the market for that item.

Now say they are removed. Now say even 50 people get it(I know, peacock charm would take forever for 50 people to get, but play along for arguements sake). Now you have 50 people trying to sell the item over a period of time. Undercutting will happen, and you will see that 10 million item start to drop.

However, people's greed and impatience will always be a major issue. However, if theres anything you can do to get the items cheaper(NM, BCNM, quest) DO IT! Way to many people are lazy asses and just HAVE to buy these items the second they can use it.

i know you guys mentioned the kof's a few times and how they are still there.....that's because apperntly one of the members let it slip that they use bots....so naturally he gets banned and the others are put onto the "watch list"...blah blah blah

basically they are clean now becuase they aren't using their bots for easy claims...they're trying not to get cought while they are under close watch...but in a week or two just wait and they'll be back to normal

also i can vouche they aren't using bots....cause last time i was in Ordelle's i got the Stroper Chyme 2 times without trying and then a third straight time when i was healing...it used to be absolutly impossible to get it....

With the price hike for selling item to AH, if the price is too high, wait! The sellers will lose high amounts of money from it not selling. This should hopefuly cause them to lower the price so someone buys it sooner. No one buys, they lose even more money. Soon they can't afford to set the price so high. And thus, lower prices on items. Plus, if they keep hunting, they fun out of space to put their stuff. But for this to work, players have to wait on items to drop. This is a community goal, so everyone needs to help.

If I'm right, selling a 1 million gil item cost 11k to put up. How long can you keep loseing 11k before you lower the price? Or run out of gil to sell?

We work together and we can put them out of business!
