    I can also pronounce it.

I've never found a word in any dialect that I can't pronounce (names included) once I've heard them. Remembering the actual name is different though... even remembering common names is difficult for me.

    Haha... Arlenis!!! *cheers!!!*

I was reading thru... came across your post, reading.. words, words, words, Anaheim... words... pause.. hmm... words, words, Arrowhead Pond... pause ... O.O !!! Anaheim California!!!

Yay!!! hehe, sorry to kinda overreact, just that most everyone I have met in this game live nowhere even near me!! Heck, I even know and play with two ppl in Australia, lol. But most everyone on my friends list is on the east coast, and being 3 hours ahead, that can make for some difficult gatherings... :P

Woo-Hoo!! Even though I don't know you personally thru the game at all, I have read many of your posts, but just found it cool that finally some one in Ca. plays too. I was begining to think that I was one of the only ppl in Ca. to play this and all others are out enjoying the sun or what have you, lol. Btw, I'm in Bellflower.

anyways, just found it neat that finally see another Ca. person playing as well :P hehe *cheers*

LOL yeah Nguyens are abundant in Vietnamese-concentrated areas. Unfortunately my Vietnamese is really bad. I speak like a 6 year-old. My best friend is a Vietnamese immigrant and probably the only Vietnamese I know that can speak English as clearly as a native. She says I don't give enough credit to my Vietnamese; that I can speak clearly but just slowly LOL.

Anyhow..."Nguyen" is usually said "whin" in English but the correct sound of it is...well...

The -ngu part sounds like a slight gulp. I dunno how else to describe it. -yen in Vietnamese is not yen like Japanese yen, it's like ien. Not two-syllable but one ien. It's a one-syllable word.

Anywhoo...I do have a normal English name LOL

I'm not saying my real name because it's embarassing...

But all of my friends call me Rod.

That seems insane having people call your house for something in an online game Spot....Can I have your number? (j/k)

ANd Roukii, my Friend's brother's nickname is Kazu, but they live down here in the U.S.

Yeah, I know. It's a typically nickname for any Japanese given name to males that start with Kazu. ie. Kazuki, Kazuyoshi, Kazuyuki yada yada... Smiley: rolleyes

My first name is Robert, but when my parents brought me home my older brother kept calling me Brian. Well it stuck and has become my middle name.

Also on my birth certificate my father spelled my name Brain! It is a good thing that my mom proof reads everything.

edit: man I should proof read more often 8^)

    I'll call you Iggy then.
I've a good friend with the same name, but we always called him Iggy, which he preferred over the nickanme (from the other half of the name) which his parents and family always used for him.
    Nacho. He hated it.

I was going to leave it alone after getting that close on the second attempt. Shurikenger had a reason for not telling us his name and now you have let the cat out of the bag, so to speak.

    Anyway, I prefer Nacho. /salute

o.O Since Shuri is one of my primary "partners-in-crime" on my LS and static team, how can I now resist the temptation to call him Nacho? Smiley: sly

I wonder how long I'll be able to call him that without him knowing why? >.>
