ok... now this just pissed me off >,> im lfp (as always probably forever) and some guy invites me to his party! /hurray! says "{Party} {Boyahda Tree}?" and you know being a dragoon as soon as i see this ima freak out and reply "{Yes, please.}" and so i do so... But as soon as i do that hes like "{Huh?!} I know a drg isnt trying to party with ME! u weak *** ******* needa **** off"... somebody tell me that isnt ****** up... and the same thing happened to me an hour later, except this guy was only going to invite me if i payed him 200k.. "hey wanna party at kuftal?" "{Yes, please}" "ok ur lvl 55.. drg.. thatll b 212k" now if i hafta pay to get a pt, the gil sellers are relly taking over, or people are just messing with a dragoons head.. im going to make a list of these people and if this happens to you and even if you are not a dragoon, email me at drgdude@pol.com {Thank You} ^_^

It has nothing to do with gilsellers.
They're just asshats, and you need to /blist them.

Maybe consider adding their names to the thread of players to look out for.

You might also want to farm, build a DRG/WHM, or work on your rep.

I've seen the other thread about you, man. It ain't pretty.

I would have to say it was probably someone that caught wind of your rep and decided for payback. Sorry to say, but you may need to consider starting a new character and using this one to farm with to fund that character.

In all honesty, this post desperately sounds like a "Hey guys, I'm not that bad! What about THESE people? *cough* They're totally real."-kind of post. It really seems like the only thing you're doing to try to disprove and change people's waining opinions of you is...complaining on a message board. Complaining on a message board can sometimes result in people becoming even further annoyed. Perhaps you should be a bit more proactive in the matter. If you really want people to think differently of you, start helping people out left and right. Stop crying wolf every time someone even mentions the word "hacked" and try to help others who were. If you are genuinely a decent person, it'll shine through in the end and put all of the naysayers to rest.

To put it simply: less talky, more action.

Chances are the people you encountered wouldn't do that to anyone but you.

Looking through this forum one quickly gets the idea (wrongly or righty) that you've been scamming people, have terrible equipment, and are generally not the type of person you want to spend extended periods of time with.

    Posting things like:
    Nifrot wrote:
if i scammed u dont u think id hav sum decent gear atleast?

Whilst also looking for a static party, on the same forum, is not the greatest of plans.

Level up RDM or WHM, go solo yourself some money (and some exp too, if you like) and be a nice guy. Rumours of scamming should dissapear once you've helped some people with Genkais and AF. Help a few people with G1 and before too long chances are they'll be in your level range, and they'll probably be quite likely to invite you along to a party. They'll be even more likely to invite you if you have shiny gear.

As adorable as your fights with your brother and sister (the "expert hackers") are, I for one don't really want to hear about them. Your character has done nasty things to people; apologise to them (yes, I know it wasn't you that did it) and they'll feel a lot better. Something like "I'm very sorry for what my character has done to you, if there is any way for me to repay you, please tell me." will go a lot further than "OMG IT WASNT ME!! I wos hacked!!12! u r a LIER!" which is just going to make them more angry.

Sorry that half of this wasn't related to this topic, but you seem to have so many threads dedicated to you, I had to pick one to post in.

Hey, Nifrot I don't know you or have not been in a party with you, So I will not judge you. But you may want to use your DRG as a Farmer and level another class like BST, That way you can solo level. A lot of people I know or play with will never give you a party invite, Because they know your Rep >.<

    Just an idea for ya.

I do farm alot with a friend of mine and camp NMs, im not gonna start a new character, and no im not making this thread to say "Hey forget about me! look at these people" you should look at these people cause well, theyre dumbasses, possibly could be you on this website, but thats just me and my conspiracies and im just pissed off because these people said this crap because ima drg, i know it just hasnt happened to me either. Im also planning to lvl my cooking, start ninja, do utsusemi quests, do other quests, once ninja is leveled, buy 2 bloody rapiers (an hp drain sword at about my level), sub ninja on my dragoon, and put those swords to use.. but i swear all of you needa calm down on this "Nifrot is a scammer" thing, its very annoying, pointless, and untruthfull... and whoever made the comment on like why am i looking for a static and is poor, drg is very very affordable and im only looking for a static to 60, im not a rng i dont needa spend 5mil per party.. all i was trying to do was get people to give me the names of anybody who is being a prick because of what kinda person they are or what job they have..

I don't know, but I find this whole Nifrot thing delightfully hilarious. I can't even understand what he's actually saying half of the time, nevertheless what he's intending to say.

I'm with you there... though I have to admit, his latest post is a vast improvement on the first one.

Ive seen you around jueno and ive also read the posts about you, apparently as just about everybody has already posted you arent what we call 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice material. I dont know you personally so I won't judge.

What I will do instead is respond to your thought that theres some kind of big conspiracy against all drgs. Me being a drg62 I have dealt with the long wait for invites, but then I got smart enough to build my own pts. Thats basically my suggestion to you.

Your rep is probably a huge part of your own pt problems from what I here. Its ok to take the blame even if you didnt do it at least then people will respect you a lil more for telling what may not be the truth, but in their eyes is.

I have quit drg not because of the party deal, just looking towards endgame and other more personal reasons. Thats neither here nor there. I am just asking that if your gonna play drg please, dont make them more hated then they already are by scamming people or whatever, thank you.

I haven't had that problem sence i got passed 55. Now 60, i stopped to lv thf. But every once in awhile i get a random, invite from people i know, or partied with. So they know how i play. Rep, does mean alot. But its strange to see some of the Kofs, Creep their way to 60.

Well, I, being a drg myself have and still do deal with the long invites between parties. So, while I wait during the week, I sub rdm and solo decents and an occational even in western altepa. During the weekend, if not helping my LS buddies, I get some reading material, and sandwich and set in the lovely Jeuno and seek. I get some NICE drops during the week with solo and it helps with juices and echo drops. Actually, I do get invites from time to time when I solo with my flag up.

But, I do get tired of the shouts and /tells to me about how drgs are [too weak] etc. But, instead of argueing - I just grin and bare it. Move on with a confidence that I will get an invite. I have been fortunate enough to get /tells from party members complimenting me. It is going to be through good relations and outstanding performance that we drgs over come the negative stereotypes that drgs have somehow garnered. But, we have to be on the best of behavior all the time... Just my thoughts.

As for rep... Deserved or non-deserved, it does play heavy in party invites. Particularly at higher levels when our population numbers are less than the new players and our potential party members are more concentrated. You can have a bad run / argument with one person and it will spread. Multiply this if you are a drg. =(

And, for now that concludes my two cents worth lol

I have to say reputation goes a long way, last summer I leveld my friend theif to 45 for some in-game money. That being said I had to take a break and go on vaction around level 40. I told my friend that he could play on his account while I was on vacation in hopes that he might do some leveling- well he partied about once and didn't level. Well apparently he was a real ******* to the party and had no Idea how to play theif (he had only level'd it up to 22.) So I get back from vacation and I couldn't get a party for nearly a weak. Anyway at least from 1-45 my equip didnt matter much (I was leveling up with beetle armor, the only decent piece of equip I had on me was the AF knife) but regardless of that reputation matters alot while partying. Whether or not to listen to people on the forum and judge people from there Is kind of stupid since you are going off other peoples accounts of that person and not a personal account.

Nifrot -- we've never met before, but the people that did those things just to spite you are buttholes.
