I dunno. Some odd thing from today; got a /tell, and someone said that he'd been told that I sold my account, and that he ought to try speaking chinese to me (he did, but seeing as how I know all of 10 words, maybe, all I know is that he said "i love you" >.>) because I'm now being played by a gilseller.

Apparently, there are some people out there that seem to be under the impression that the LS to which I belong is a gil seller LS as well.

Just for the record, 90% of the members of my LS are online friends who've all known each other since before we started playing FFXI. Most of us have played since the NA release of the game. None of us have ever bought or sold gil.
And, just for the record, our LS has only one DRG (shoud be proof enough, I'd think ).


Anyway, not that it matters to most people, but when I do quit, I won't be selling my account; so if you see me, it is actually and always me (unless I happen to be afk and my daughter is playing around on my character, and doesn't know how to respond to /waves and /tells).

Thats a bizarre accusation, you're fairly popular on Lakshmi, so I find such an insinuation odd. Redundancy!!

Yeah, I'll say! If he didn't have that long elvaan neck of his, I'd probably never catch a glimpse of him in Jeuno, since he is usually surrounded by his fanclub.

No, we have those long necks to facilitate grazing from the tall trees in Ronfaure (though I am 100% Windurstian, myself) for our daily nourishment.


Also, cookies are welcome anytime, but if you want to distract me, you'll have better luck by either throwing something shiny (like a ball of tinfoil) or something dangerous (like a monster) at me.

As for being known, well, it's a small world, and sooner or later I'm bound to cross your path (just like a black cat "bringing" bad luck); and as for admired, well... I think that's just a side effect of having appeared on the cover of Young Temple Knights in the Bath some years ago when I was a poor, cash-strapped adventurer. Since then, I've had a mix of fanboys and girls >.>

Yeah.... boy those were the good old days, when you'd do just about anything for a few gil.
The "Bath" issue was sort of a special edition... like a swimsuit issue, you know.
If I remember correctly, we were paid 100 gil for the job, and I think someone gave us lunch.

Ok, well for one. I was helping a alliance with G1 and Tenmiles came and helped with the Paper (I am the DRG that died from the Link from hell). And I thought OMG ITS TENMILES! Really! I am NOT kiddin' I had seen him on the forums. For one, gilsellers rarely help non-gilsellers and plus - Tenmiles is just too cool to be a Gilseller.

Also, the cover art was awesome!
