ANN-dri-NOR

ANN (as in Anne)
dri (as in drip <.<)
NOR (as in neither this NOR that)

It's a name I have used for ages in D&D and other RPG (Yes, I am old enough to remember D&D before it was AD&D <.<)

As for Andi, I'll let you figure out how to pronounce that :P

Kee - sha.

And not "Kai-sha" like alot of people seem to think. Kaisha sounds exactly like how one would say "company" in Japanese. {Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass.}

Name was derived from my other moniker, Kisa... Which is simply just Kee-Sa - that works too, if you'd like to pretend the "h" in Kysha is silent. >.>b

Talya
Tal-ya
Tal (like Tally, without the ee sound)
ya (yuh)

Just popped in my head when the "enter name box" came up.

My camels (my version of mules), on the other hand, have more interesting names.

Saitou (elvaan)
Coppercorn (taru)
Bellowingbovine (galka)

Oh, and Andi.. I remember D&D before the "A" was added too... /sigh

The words flash and heart, try to say it as a single syllable :p
So not flash-heart, just flash-art.

Heh, thought I'd add, even though he's quit, that my friend called himself Quay without realising what a Quay is, and that it's pronounce KEY. He pronounced it as KWAI.
Moron ^^

oRion-rocker or just oRion.

Lately there have been a couple people that can't read the English language and that think it's oNion. Namely Shykre and Gitaru (the Shyster and Gimptaru twins). Joking.

Oh, and Roukii, you will always be Rookie to me Smiley: lol .

Tenmiles is simply a name made of two common English words, and shouldn't have much trouble being prounounced (though the emphasis is on the first syllable, just so you know).

However, since I used to work doing phonetic transcription for a speech-recognition software company (transliterating words into CPA, Computer-Phonetic Alphabet (which itself is based on ISA, International Phonetic Alphabet)), I can show you what it would look like in that, but it would only make sense to a linguist:

t E n m aj l z

I know that doesn't look very interesting, so I'll leave you with one of my favorites; the CPA transcription for "butter":

b ^ ! *r

    BROO - sah

    roll the "r" if you like. say it fast. say it proud.

    even though it sounds like a thug name and some ppl think it's a sign of my mnk-i-ness, i took it from a book at random when all the names i tried were rejected...

    my first char's name was gilga. short for gilgamesh, and no, i didn't want to be like the ol' pirate in norg (though he's cool). i just think the original story of gilgamesh and enkidu rox. total woot-ness.

    Got this idea for this name from the Japanese word "Neko" and just added the "le" to make it look English.

    Meroko: "Mee- row- kuu"
    Got this name from one of my favorite Animes, Searching For The Full Moon ^^

    Lilam: "Lill- em"
    Again got this name from an Anime, this time "Lilim Kiss" -_- Lilim was taken.. boo...

    I got it from the standard key board. If you start with the "w" key and go right you have it.

    Shurikenger = Shuu-Ree-Ken-Jer
    Lazy people call me Shuri though. >_>;

    Quick, useless fact: He's a character from a old sentai series titled: Ninpuu Sentai Harikenja, or after horrible butchering of the scenes and lousy episode re-writings, became Power Rangers Ninja Storm.

    My name is pronounced Na-Bee-Yen... bien as in spanish for good, but thats not what I intended :)

    Oh, and I always pronounced your name Rookie, Roukii :) When you sent me a tell for the first time, I thought you were my friend, and you made a funny mule name, cause everyone calls him The Rookie.

    I always wonder when I see your name because in Mandarin Chinese "na bian", (which is phonetically kinda pronounced like Na-Bee-Yen really quick) means "over there". w

    PS: No I am not a gilfarmer.

    Salix ...

    Sa (say) it's a long A sound.
    lix (licks) *sticks out her tongue*

    ... is how I would pronounce it.

    Taken from Salix babylonica, which is latin for weeping willow, or as I like to say, sadness.

    ^^b

    Edit: I'm silly.

    My alla account name Rair is pronounced Rah-Ear (like ear). But every time I hear somoene pronounce it, it sounds more like a growl. lol. My RL name is Ray, so it just evolved into Rair when I started new chars in other games. It became the name of my first char here (Galka RDM /cry). I still use this as a mule in Bastok.

    Gotti (Gah-TEE) is the only char I level now. I got it from the original John Gotti. It has nothing to do with the TV show besides pertaining to the same subject.

    Houdini (Hoo-DEE-NEE) is my Sandy mule. I used to do alot of magic tricks for friends.

    Aerion (AIR-E-ON) is my Windy Mule. I created a company with this name many years ago. It gets it's origins from the word "sky".
