I'm not posting this in the main forums, because I'm not particularly interested for whatever flack someone may chose to give me because it's off-topic (and unlike what most people profess, I actually do care about my rating), so I'm posting it here because some things are just too good not to be shared.

Just when I thought Suzukisan was my favorite bizzarro lunatic twist on Japan,
I now discover YATTA!.

I kind of want the song now.

    This was all the rage like 3 to 4 years ago. >.>;
    Miles is like, y'know, like sooo out of fashion! Like, omg. *rolls eyes*

    XD

    PS: Since both you and I happen to know the "Mini Green Leaves" members (they're people in the secret channel), I'm pretty sure you could ask in there. Someone is sure to have the MP3. I have a copy of it too, but it's not very good quality. >.>;

    It's true though. I'm so behind the curve.

    I have friends who try to get me into all the most cutting edge stuff, and I don't pick up on it until ages later, and my friends have already been over it for years.

    Though, on the topic of cutting-edge, I was a little dissapointed to see that they weren't "honest" leaves, but that they all had little briefs on with them; no Japanese Full Monty, I suppose.

    That's strangely disturbing, but in a nice Tenmiles-esque kinda way.

    Yeah, they seemed kinda goofy-looking.

    I wouldn't cry, though, if it was Hyde-sama! |D~~
    (Back before he went platinum blond and got all macho-looking, at least)

    Rofl

    Definitly a VMA award worthy video.

    Edit: Anyone knows what "yatta" means?

    "Yatta" means "yay" or "Yes!", or "I did it!" something like that.

    If you liked that video and you also watch anime you have to see this video as well.

    http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=16934

    it's an anime music video using various clips from different anime series. A lot of the jokes are context based so a few may slip you by if you are unfamiliar with the anime. But even so it was quite a hoot. It also has subtitles translating the song as you watch it.

    This video is what introduced the song for me. And it's still one of my favorite amvs.

    Well, I had to sign up in order to download it. I guess I'd always just been too lazy to do so before.

    That. Was. Classic.
    I was busting a gut out loud watching that video.
    I'm still in tears from the closing "Bai-Q!~" image!

    It's much better having seen the original Yatta first.

    The montage with Fuuma and Kamui, set (in the song) where it was, was just priceless.

    Thank you for showing me a great addition to my AMV collection.

    Who died and made you Smiley: king

    Btw its more to the effect of "I win"

    e.g. If you are playing bingo in Japan and you "win" you stand and shout "Yatta"

    which could still be taken as either "did" or "win" with the bingo example so take it as you want
