Do spears change( the looks they look all the same to me thats why i dont lie spears cause swords look different)

He dropped a Coral Celtic Spear for me.. similar bonuses but different name... I wonder if my being an Eldritch changed that...

Coral Spear is a regular drop...
As an eldritch you shouldnt be able to get the one time drop, because they only drop if you can USE them

Well, it took me over 8 hours for him to finally pop, but got the spear on 1st pop. I am lev 26 so that does seem to be the minimum Hero level to get this.

Decent spear, I got it today. To make the level range more specific, you have to be level 26. I killed him twice I believe while I was 25. Then I heard he dropped a spear if you are lvl 27... well I dinged to 26, saw him half an hour later, killed him, got the spear.
Anyway, if it hasn't been stated, Muir is a merman and you can find him by going to Howth. Looking out from the gate you should see some water, go to it, and a bit further south you'll find a rocky bridge. Cross it and follow the water to the south (your right). Keep following it past the water badgers and the occasional merman until the water forks... follow the left fork until you come to a pond surrounded by rocks. Muir spawn there, he's not always there, but isn't too terribly uncommon either.

This quest isn't given, it's just a drop from Muir, who is a named Merman at Connla's Well in Shannon Estuary. You have to be around level 28 or so to get it to drop into your inventory. A Hero in our guild got it and had no clue until he went to sell after we hunted there :)

The damage on this is actually 9.3 I typed it in wrong when I sent this in.

this is an inner quest for heroes, it starts around level 24 or 25. You do not have to do anything but to kill Muir. You will get the spear automaticely in your inventory, and the message "You have finished the Muir Quest".
