This is not a common item. I had hunted for days and days before getting even one to drop. I'd say this is Rare to Very Rare. If you haven't gotten one yet, just keep hackin away in Silvermine Mountains. You may never get one, but think of all the experience you'll get trying!!

I heard that the ghoulies dropped a lot of magical items... They conned green to me at the time so I just killed one. I got the cloak on my first try. After that drop, I never was able to get anymore rare drops.

At the time of this post, the picture and the stats on this cloak are incorrect (for Hibernia at least). Mythic made some changes to the resistance table as well, so there is no such thing as Mind Resistance. The new stats are as follows:
Intelligence: 3 pts
Empathy: 3 pts
Spirit Resist: 3%
Hits: 6 pts
Starting Cond.: 100%
Starting Dur.: 100 %
Default Bonus: 10%

the albion version of this cloak is from a level 10 or so quest from nob the stable boy that anyone can do... So us in hibernia get ripped :)
The Albion cloak you are referring to may have the same appearance, but it is a level 7 quest, and it only has one bonus, +4 Quickness. If you ask me, we got it better, since our cloak will last us well into our adventures. I know I'd take this cloak over the Gyrg's Cloak in Albion any day.

Ok 1st of all, Albion has a different cloak w/ a graphic. I see lvl 5's in albion wearing them, its a different newbie cloak with the same graphic, Or its the guild status.
2nd of all, ALL magical cloaks CAN be dyed.
3rd of all, I've seen a few cloaks drop off spragonals. NOT spraganotes.
I have on myself, in matter of fact i got 2, gave one to my RL friend.

I got mine off a Walking Rock near the silvermine mountains. I had been killing them all day and this was the first magic item drop period from them or the spraggonales there. Once again as to the rarity, I have seen two people with this on, and one of them was from Albion during RVR.

I just got mine off a sprag in SM Mt.s.... From here on out i think im gonna tell newbs that /send me that you get it for killing 1000 annoying lucridans, ahha! Now that will take care of the leprechaun population if nothing else!
That's not very nice... The newbies don't even know what faction is, much less the problem that will potentially cause for them.

I got one last night. Took it off the back of a Spraggonoll located in the Silvermine Mountains. There is a large mountain between the siabra camp and the siabra miners. If you go up the hill, you will find 8-10 spraggs and 5-6 walking rocks. Rocks are neutral. I don't bother them, they don't bother me. It is pretty easy to solo the spraggonolls for me. Lvl 24 druid. I like this area alot. Usually get 100k camp bonus because nobody ever goes up there to kill. Too high up in the mountains I guess. I'm telling you because they are turning blue to me :(

Got mine off a ghoulie (I think) in Gorge just past the keep. It does indeed look very nice and within 20 seconds of putting it on I was getting /sends from people asking what it is and where did I get it. As for being "common", I've yet to see anyone else wearing one but that doesn't mean they aren't out there. Cloak is silverish on the back with a nice gold border, and is blood red on the inside.

I have killed three or four LEVELS worth of these creatures and I am cloakless. (Exp on that wall with the rocks and Spraggons is good though)

I myself have attained one on Guin/Hib. I have yet to see another Hiby with one however I am sure there are a few out there. A mate of mine has tried the past 3 days to get one without success. He has probably killed close to 5k of em.

I received this item from a Spraggonole, or Spraggonote. I cant remember which one, but they are located in the Sivermine Mtns. in the same location as the walking rocks. It is a very unique looking cloak. I gave it up to a guildmate when I found something better, though. My Mantle of Forgotten Prowess. It gives me Empathy +5 and another stat that I cannot remember. The look is awesome though. Love that gold trim. :)

This cloak is NOT common in hibernia, perhaps in albion where i see quite a few players wearing them. On Guenivere I only know of one other person who has one besides myself in hibernia. Note that it has a special image and looks awesome, and is one of the few magical cloaks that can have an emblem placed on it. I got mine off of a grey specter, but we killed thousands and never got another. The other person got theirs off a high level Spraganoll in the frontier.
